  1. Enzo isn’t going to change his philosophy bu: bring in Vardy and Coady - both for experience and because they will replace underperforming players. High tempo from the start, if we score and then actually try and score again we might win some games. We will create 3-4 good chances (we normally do) so make the most of them.
  2. There will be 2 more games after these 4
  3. But he’s an elite manager. It’s not fair to judge him without giving him an extra £100m to spend. The opposition are not playing fair by pressing and scoring on the break or defending deep
  4. Get him gone but nothing will change until the non football side changes. We’ll bottle the play-offs, bring on a transfer embargo and a few mid table seasons. We will come back without this ‘we are massive’ mentality and show the league some respect a joke all round
  5. 4 results out of 5 that are better or equal to Leeds gets us promotion. It’s still a good place to be. 3 points vs. Plymouth would salvage last night somewhat.
  6. By the time we go up (if we go up) our finances will be in much better order. Assuming we don’t splurge £100m on random players on massives wages we also managed to get relegated which is punishment enough, I’m expecting sub 6 points
  7. The £10m was more that we paid decent fees for him, coady, Mads and Winks. Fatawu and Doyle would cost at least that sort of fee to sign permanently also. They all should be good Championship players and they are.
  8. Type of player that will always do something good enough to get you on the MOTD highlights. Deserves a chance to prove whether he is good enough in the Prem, Our signings in general have been pretty good this year. That said £10m players plus should have an impact in the championship,
  9. Norwich is a difficult game, dropped points there would be an added incentive. Let’s just go 4-0 up in the first half and calm the nerves. Simple
  10. This is about right (maybe Vesty goes). You can add Iverson, Stolarczy and Thomas and a few loans
  11. Just isn’t right for what we’ll need if we go up. We need players who buy into a 2-3 year plan of establishing ourselves on a sound financial footing, That’s potential relegation and lower wages if that happens. I can’t see any PL player at a big club wanting that. Why would they? Top Championship Talent and foreign leagues for me.
  12. 10 point deduction and a transfer embargo is the sort of punishment I’d expect. if I was the EFL I’d aim to basically keep us in the championship while we get our finances in order. if we know a transfer embargo is coming, we’ll get our transfer incomings done early,
  13. Good job we can sign an emergency loan keeper. If we don’t have 5 keepers on the books it’s no LCFC
  14. The Maccauire loan was to bring forward the fees for Maddison, Barnes and Castagne.
  15. Inflation impacts revenue also… I also don’t think inflation really impacts football player wages in the same way as normal jobs. They can still afford a Waitrose shop - certainly on our generous wages
  16. Whelan has to go, Rudkin has to go. Neither will.
  17. As much as we can hate on Rodgers - he doesn’t agree the wages we pay players or set a wage budget bigger than revenue. Based on the those numbers we had no interest in meeting the FFP requirements - we absolutely deserve our fine. It does take time to correct overspend but hopefully whatever division we are in getting rid of a load more players at the end of the season helps with a reset.
  18. How on earth can a club spend more on wages than it generates in revenue. Even if we finished say 10th those would be terrible numbers. In any normal business the CEO would be gone and their team.
  19. Can’t see anyone winning all their remaining games so a few twists and turns yet. We are the team most capable of putting in a turd of a performance though so depends which Leicester turns up for the rest of the season
  20. I still have no idea how much to blame players over managers. We rode our luck and the start of the season and it’s deserted us now. I thought we would build a team around Nacho, I thought Faes would dominate, I thought Ricardo and Kristianson would be the best attacking full backs in the league. Ndiddi would do what he does best and KDH score 10+. Now I’d love us to go up but just expect us to miss a few good chances, concede and then lose or draw
  21. While it is all hindsight we just needed a manager with experience at this level. Our squad should have been good enough for any manger who knew the league.
  22. We’ve spursed it again
  23. Enzo isn’t doing his credentials any favours.
  24. The 30th June date is a bit odd in terms of the current rules. You are also incentivised to sell home grown players. but overall spending within your means isn’t a bad aim. It’ll be interesting to see what punishment Man City gets in the end is all I would say.
  25. Wembley even a semi final would be good for the fans and the team. Even our fans can’t be miserable at Wembley. I’d use the game to keep Vardy match fit, give Ndiddi and Ricardo minutes so near full strength for me bar keeper and Doyle in
