It's pretty deflating to have an owner that doesn't give a shit

When you think of our recruitment over the last 5 years against that of the likes of Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Palace, Bournemouth, Forest and now Sunderland it shows how utterly dreadful the decision making on the football side has been for far too long. We were in a better position to attract better players than all these teams and we've royally ballsed it up

I don’t think the problem is how the players implement his training methods and approach to the game but more that they fail to do so which is of course a problem in itself. His presentation in the technical box and his post match comments make me think that he wants the team to be more positive and cut out the schoolboy mistakes. He just doesn’t have the luxury of a strong squad to make any material difference in quality or character by bringing in replacements for sub standard performers

I’d love to see the scouting reports and match footage that informed our decision to buy this goon

Too many of the players we have are simply not good enough or are happy losers and don't have the pride or ambition to dig in, graft and play a more positive type of football I can't see any manager that we could realistically attract being able to get consistently decent performances out of this group
