At the risk of being predictable, I'm sorry but a keeper shouldn't be getting beaten from there with a ball struck at that pace. It was well aimed but it took him forever to get there and his starting position was awful. I'd back Mads or Jakub to have gotten to that.

Everyone calming down a tad about Southampton and Ipswich yet?

Your mood in 10 words? Bleak x10 Where will we finish? With the current squad, 5th? How many points will we be deducted? 6 if any not enough to make any real difference, we won't be top two anyway. Who will be our most important player? Fatawu or, currently, BEK. Who will be top scorer? Hopefully whoever we sign but this is by far the biggest problem. Currently Ayew or maybe Mavididi if we're lucky? What are you most excited about? I'm not really although I do think Cifuentes will play some fun football. What are you most worried about? Watching Cov go up above us. What’s one thing you most want to see this season? Er, promotion? Which player is going to surprise us? Good surprise? I can see Skipp growing in to it at this level. Bad surprise? I can see Monga not really being ready. 16 is super young, his body has loads of development still to do, in particular he needs to gain pace and power. Think he'll have the problems Yunus did in this league being technical and lacking athleticism. Hopefully the fans are patient. Which player do you most want out the door? I'm usually very vocal about not judging players personally. We aren't trained psychologists and if we were we'd say don't judge someone from afar anyway. But there's something extremely off-putting about Wout Faes' body language and attitude and I'm just ****ing sick of watching him looking around incredulous after we've conceded and it was his fault. Which player linked with a move are you most desperate to keep? BEK is far too good for this league. He's far more technically gifted than KDH, I don't think he'll score as many but he'll absolutely run the game. If we can sign a quality goal scorer without selling him, I think he COULD be the difference between play offs and autos. I can't see him staying though. Will Martí Cifuentes still be the manager this time next year? Yeah probably. I don't think anything that happens will be his fault and I don't see him doing well enough to get poached inside a year. Enzo was quite a freak situation.

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
Finnegan replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
I re-downloaded it through EA Play instead of Steam and it seems to be OK now. You're right though, it's just battlefield, less the crazy special abilities of 2042. Maps seem a bit better than 2042 too although obviously we've only seen a couple. Bit hard to judge the gunplay when there's only a handful of guns in it at the moment and they're very mid. -
How is it 2025 and still some of you haven't managed to stumble across even one article or video explaining how poor this take is by now. Like, it was objectively intelligent for Enzo to have us bait and beat the press, we were good at it, Hermansen was good at it, you literally watched us win the league.

Oh bless you -
You can always trust the Spanish to sign a rapist.

You're thinking about it too two dimensionally. A player's "value" isn't some binary number weighted perfectly by stats and Football Manger style exact, numeric attribute scores. It's a complete cluster-**** of perception, reputation, stats, scouting, bargaining power, agent power, the finances of the buying club, the finances of the selling club, the position he plays, the other options on the table for them, the other options on the table for us. There's thousands of variables all cracking off at the same time in any given deal. The bottom line is, a freshly relegated club with our financial problems isn't in a strong bargaining position. We have been in the past, in the last decade we've sold two central defenders for a combined 160 million and neither of them were truly worth even half what the buying clubs paid. At the same time, we've shamefully pissed away extreme ammounts on muck like Slimani and Perez. We got absolutely done on N'golo Kante, then we did Chelsea back on Danny Drinkwater and arguably Chilwell and KDH. Then we turned around and spunked it all away on Oliver Skipp. None of it really makes sense does it?

Are Chelsea just signing every single young winger and attacking midfielder in the world for pure memes at this point? Remember when Enzo said the squad was too big? He must be going nuts. Wtf are they doing as a club.

Vardy spent his entire childhood in top tier, English professional academy. They just dropped him at 18 because he was "too small."

No chance it's that close tbh. Tavolieri would be tweeting on the hour every hour. -

I'm on it. Performance is ****ing dreadful for me at not sure what's up. i9, 4080, 17fps on lowest settings Can't be right -
Then Tom Colomosse or whoever else. Either way nobody from "our side" had said anything about Kone iirc?
-
So was Steve Cooper...

It seems odd to me that a lot of Swansea and Wycombe sources think we're in the race but none of the obvious Leicester journalists have said anything. We very obviously need a striker and he's a very logical target. It's a very believable rumour yet we've not had Percy or Tanner or someone chime in and even say he's a target, have we?
-
tbf if Brownhill wants 100k and has offers from Premier League clubs, that makes sense why Burnley aren't renewing the contract of their captain and top goal scorer. More sense than "he's actually too crap for Leicester."

I can see it being only about 16 with some addons after the fact, to bring it up to about 20 in the future, to be quite honest. Maybe a sell on % somewhere. We look extremely desperate and we have cover for him. We also signed him for peanuts and this would be over 10m profit plus any extras down the line. WHU have spent the last week showing us they can find other goalkeepers for 6m - 9m, we're not really in a position to **** about.

Besiktas confirm they are close to signing Wilfred Ndidi

@Ric Flair you came early -
Probably just chucking our name in to add a bit of spice to a stale story. Doubt there's owt in it.

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)
Finnegan replied to SouthStandUpperTier's topic in Transfer Talk
Woyo is an attacking right back, almost wing back, in the conventional sense. He's not what Cifuentes wants at all. -

I highly doubt it given what they paid for him.
