  1. They are supposedly without over 10 players, huge opportunity and I think playing away from home at the moment suits us. I would go with: Begovic Ricardo Okoli Nelson Kristensen Winks Skipp Aribo Fatawu Daka Mavididi Stolarcyzk, Aluko, Thomas, Page, Mukasa, Richards, Monga, Thomas, Ayew
  2. Just had a quick look over his games with Oxford this season. Played a mixture of 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 and a back 3 which demonstrates some flexibility. What I found interesting is that Oxford consistently have low possession numbers but a high number of attempts. Looks a lot more direct which works with the players that we have. If he can organise us defensively and get us set up to play well on the break he’s got a chance. I’ll always back the manager until given a reason not to.
  3. This is my attempt at positivity. IF, we get a manager in NOW and we play like we did in the 1st half last Tuesday we win 8 of these. The list is favourable and on paper looking at our squad we should have enough. However, if neither of those things happen we pick up a maximum of 10 points. The issues we have is that no-one wants to manage us and our players can’t put in a 90 min performance. The next couple of days are vital, if nothing is done in time for Stoke it’s not going to be.
  4. I wouldn’t hold it against anyone if they did that post-Southampton in the league. Who would want to manage a group of players who fall apart after conceding a goal.
  5. If it’s not already been done I would suggest posting this on the Norwich forum (assuming they have one). Football needs to unite and I’m confident that they would support our protest. It would add seriously fuel to the fire if they had banners in their end and made a song and dance of us entering the stadium late, like we did with Sheff Weds.
  6. No-one wants it and I can’t blame them. We’ve not hired an employed manager since BR (Enzo was a coach). It’s clear we’re only going for unemployed managers so why we’ve not got one is down to one reason. People in football talk. I can guarantee that the sh1tshow behind the scenes is well known to all possible candidates and we’re unable to attract anyone. We’re going to have either offer a huge salary or bonus to a potential manager or go from someone right at the bottom of our list who we wouldn’t normally look at. Whatever happens it isn’t going to be pretty.
  7. I’m just going off football - not just us and because of how we’re doing. Im just fed up of a sport which has the integrity of competition ruined by unfair financial regulations and some shoddy rules. If I can’t give up on football then I might have to find a league that doesn’t have these problems.
  8. If we have an option and other clubs come in for him, surely we sign him up in this seasons accounts (post end of June) and then sell him on. Alternatively, his parent club would have to pay us to break the option we have. Either way we either sign a good player or make money out of the deal.
  9. I would pick the team for Saturday this morning: Stolarczyk Aluko Lascelles Nelson Kristensen Page Winks Richards BDCR Monga Hutchinson I’d have every other player just doing running until next Thursday. No pool, no golf, no spa, just running. These lot need to remember what it’s like to be a professional sportsman. 10 days of hard work might sort them out. Might.
  10. I meant links as in he’s local to the area, wants to come back from America, has worked for us before, coached Fuchs at last job and has extensive championship experience
  11. Myself into oblivion normally
  12. The delay makes me think it must be someone in work, Smith is the obvious one as he’s not only in a job but doing one abroad. Didnt Fuchs play for him too? The number of links makes it hard to ignore
  13. Looking at the positives, Lascelles looks a great signing and if he can stay fit we have the leader at the back that we need. Aribo did well and he looked sharper than I expected. Other new signings didn’t have the best environment to showcase their abilities. Glad Asmir got the nod in goal and thought that Daka was an improvement up top - we definitely look better with him in the team. Fatawu and Mavididi looked lively until the red card. Ultimately the red card changed the game and I think we would have gone on to win 11v11. If we keep up that level of performance with 11 on the pitch we will see an upturn in results. Especially we you consider we have Kristensen, Vestergaard, James and Ramsey to return to the squad. The next set of games look very tough but then from March onwards (bar Ipswich away) they begin to look more favourable. We need a gaffer in this week so we can focus on the last third of the season.
  14. Gutted for Kingy. 2 first half red cards, a missed penalty, a defensive brainfart and several injuries. The current issues aren’t on him.
  15. Our only two strikers! Thought Daka did well today
  16. Begovic Lascelles Vestergaard Nelson Fatawu Skipp Page Kristensen Mukasa Daka Ayew
  17. Totally agree - surely there has to be a deadline. The EFL/authorities will have a counter case to argue if they try and dock us a huge number of points late in the season. My gut feeling is that they will not dock us this year, as it shouldn’t impact us much, and will hit us next year.
  18. Whilst it’s not ideal I think our best bet is to get an experienced interim in until the end of the season. Incentivise their contract based on where we finish and review in the summer. We need someone who can motivate and organise whilst getting respect from the squad. The summer will be a different story as they will have a pre-season to work with and on the squad and with a heavily reduced wage bill we should be able to approach who we want rather than only looking at free agents. We can’t underestimate how important it is to get the bad eggs out of the squad this summer, this could ultimately determine who we attract and what funds we have to rebuild.
  19. Stolarczyk (😩) Ricardo Lascelles Nelson Kristensen (Thomas if not available) Skipp Winks Fatawu Mukasa Mavididi Daka Begovic Aluko Vestergaard Aribo Page BDCR Richards Monga Ayew
  20. If you’re referring to me I haven’t committed either way and won’t until he’s had a chance
  21. Because we have 2 on the books plus Aluko. If VK hadn’t got injured I’m sure we would have attempted to shift him and bring someone else in
  22. Will everyone who is slating this signing admit they’re wrong if he comes good?!
  23. Regarding a striker, I hope that we are waiting for some other deals to happen first that might present opportunities. It would be peak Leicester for us to be desperate for a striker during the window and only sign goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders!
  24. It’s a big if, but if it is £40m + and it enables us to bring 3 loans and a couple of permanents in I would do it. If it’s £25m and we sign no-one it would be catastrophic
  25. Because of their ceiling. Thomas has reached his meaning we’re stuck with him. Goalkeepers peak later in their career
