Maybe we could join forces and try and get rid of our crap. Maybe we could raffle off some of them, tombola etc. Could be a great family day out! It’s an issue though as who will buy these players now? Yes there will always be a need, but the days of spending willy nilly seem to have paused. Clubs like Chelsea who have underperforming players on a big long contracts should be very concerned as well.

Forest seem to have an altogether different attitude to FFP though and seem to be collecting players like they’re some sort of hoarder

Is this defo how it happened? Just waking up and wondering whether Inter were playing silly buggers last minute as Italians are known for their penny pinching? I’m tempted to say we might all be overreacting a little. I mean this most certainly isn’t a great look, but I imagine ‘it happens’. The big concern is that we are body light in midfield with Casadei going home, possibly a couple if you factor in Ndidi’s injury as well. But it doesn’t mean an opportunity for a young hungry player like Raikhy. But if we lose another centre CM due to injury we are in the 💩 Be interesting to see if we go back in for Sensi in the summer.

I disagree. It didn’t work him under Rodgers because we were in terminal decline and the style didn’t suit his strengths. But now we have a style he’s perfectly suited to. IMO he’s so important to the style and tempo. A calm presence on the ball, and rarely puts a foot wrong. Yes the PL is a clear upgrade, but I think we’d be mad to bin him off. I’d offer him a year or maybe two. I also think we won’t be able to bring that many in given the financial position, so it will be about making the most of what have already got.
