Hoping Jordan Ayew would change the game 🤣 On reflection, it was probably Coopers best first half with us, but also worst second. He’s usually been much better second half and that’s got us a few decent results. But you’re right he needs to manage this squad in a much better way. Maybe he’s right to be a bit more negative hoping we can hold teams and then open up second half (the thrive in the chaos/moments theory). Because last night showed he is incapable of getting the balance right to be positive from the start. And perhaps we have also been a bit guilty thinking we can do that (we clearly can’t currently because the defence and full back areas are a shambles). And, finally, if he wanted to appease the fans with his selection last night - a) **** you for posturing to the fans and not doing what you think is the right thing (this speaks to the reports he consults players on selection…) b) you really think that’s the game to do it in 😡

I’m all for Moyes. He’ll tighten up at the back while keeping our forward threat. And look what he did at West Ham - you can see him us kicking on with him (can’t say that with Cooper).
