  1. Soumare best player on our side - never thought I’d say that.
  2. He is SO shit. I’m convinced with a months training with the first team I could do just as good a job.
  3. These changes suggest he’s chasing the game… 🤔
  4. Going forward look ok even good. But defensively it’s League One. Shambles
  5. I tell you what Soumare is looking decent. Best player on our side I’d say.
  6. I actually think he’s done quite well in this game. There’s been far worse
  7. Wishful thinking!
  8. Cooper even looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing on the touchline
  9. Haha what a joke. Defending like under 12s
  10. Haha moment of brilliance at one end, and then a moment of madness at the other
  11. What a strike Bilal
  12. Haha and then one of their players rakes his studs down Ayew’s calf and nothing. Unbelievable.
  13. That yellow for Okoli would only be given to an away player at a place like OT. No way that’s given the other way around tonight, or if Utd were playing at the KP.
  14. Yea I’m with you on the game plan. Before he came here I always questioned what his approach was, and turns out there isn’t one. Or one that’s obvious
  15. I won’t defend him, but he’s rightly resting key personnel. The problem is underneath the 15 or so decent players we have is some utter dross. And a lot of it is in tonight’s line up!
  16. I might have a sizeable bet on them winning by more than 4
  17. Christ having seen the team I’ve overjoyed I didn’t go and spend £50 watching Danny Ward, Thomas, Soumare, Ayew and BDCR. Man U will demolish us, particularly because Ten Hag has gone.
  18. Indeed. Utter madness
  19. It’s just over an hour away from where I live (on a good run). But I ain’t watching this Steve Cooper side in a relatively meaningless game at £50. No thanks! Quite a turnaround because I would usually jump at the chance at a game in the NW.
  20. Fair enough. But it hardly screams competent coaching…!
  21. Perhaps the role of the manager in this game is highlighted by the fact that JJ - who made the error for the first goal - probably shouldn’t have started in the first place based on abject previous displays.
  22. Hoping Jordan Ayew would change the game 🤣 On reflection, it was probably Coopers best first half with us, but also worst second. He’s usually been much better second half and that’s got us a few decent results. But you’re right he needs to manage this squad in a much better way. Maybe he’s right to be a bit more negative hoping we can hold teams and then open up second half (the thrive in the chaos/moments theory). Because last night showed he is incapable of getting the balance right to be positive from the start. And perhaps we have also been a bit guilty thinking we can do that (we clearly can’t currently because the defence and full back areas are a shambles). And, finally, if he wanted to appease the fans with his selection last night - a) **** you for posturing to the fans and not doing what you think is the right thing (this speaks to the reports he consults players on selection…) b) you really think that’s the game to do it in 😡
  23. I’m all for Moyes. He’ll tighten up at the back while keeping our forward threat. And look what he did at West Ham - you can see him us kicking on with him (can’t say that with Cooper).
