Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
wardyfox86 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Top 6, no. Top 17, possibly! Teams coming up will be massively less likely to gamble, with the gap widening each year. Do you see any of the 3 promoted teams surviving next year? Who goes down if you do? -
It's funny, because if it got the review it actually needed (and not the 1 they want that favours them) they'd be nowhere near Europe at all: 1st - Champions League 2nd/FA Cup - Europa League 3rd/League Cup - Conference League That would actually add credibility to each competition and add pressure to the bigger clubs to stop them all getting Europe every season. You want to finish upper mid table, trophy-less, and walk straight into European competition. Have some perspective, you'll be playing teams that have actually had to WIN their league to get where you are.

Exactly. I watched Derby vs Stoke on the final matchday, the drop off in quality from the top teams to the relegation scrappers is arguably as wide as the Prem. And these teams have no budget compared to top level football so the gap isn't being bridged.

The Best And Worst Goalkeepers We've Had.

2 pages in and no mention of Banter Ben Hamer. -
Struggle to see why they would have given up on CL? Chelsea have to play Liverpool, Newcastle and Forest. Newcastle also go away to Arsenal. Alot of points to take off each other. Forest... well, they play us
-
I know we are bad and it probably goes without saying, but this Saints team are truly truly awful. They look so poor when possession is turned over.
-
Come on!? If we get anything from this game it won't be down to "pride" Most of our players have zero interest left in us, and they all definitely lack the backbone to drag themselves up for a local derby.
-
I'd bet before Vichai's passing there were plans for a stronger link between the clubs, but because Top is in WAY above his head it's just left in its current capacity.
-
More to do with their rise than our fall. It's not a national league fixture. We've dropped 1 tier.
-
Can't see Luton, Preston and Hull all getting results. Reckon Derby will be fine.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

"Yes, we're just discussing a severance package as I really don't want to be here next season but I refuse to walk" doesn't reflect so well on him though. Of course they've spoke. -
The logic of wishing us years of pain and downward trajectory, in order to rid ourselves of "Happy Clappers" as if we'll then be left with some Ultra-Style hardcore fanbase that'll hound out any board that isn't running us we'll, is a weird one to me. Our fanbase is meek and mild, even without those. The echo chamber of Foxestalk does not reflect in the stands. A season of misery for all promoted teams, as the gap is as wide as it's ever been and will continue to widen unless one of those can stay up. I watched Derby vs Hull today instead of us, we'd comfortably beat both as we are now, it's truly shocking standard. I can't see a double relegation.
-
Just looking forward to hopefully going into games NOT knowing we'll lose. We might not go straight back up, but with the Premier League in the state it's in, it's torture for anyone outside the "New Big 17"
-
So £6.2m total outlay on a four-year deal, minus any s/o fee. We should really be looking at those. Is he not more of a winger?
-
Joaquin Panichelli on loan at Mirandes from Alaves. Or Luis Suarez from Almeria I'm sure Rudkin will already have extensive research on both
-
Was bought as back up, and was slowly getting a reputation as a decent cup keeper. That's all he should ever have been. Completely on the club that they decided to let Kasper go and entrust Ward as a first choice PL keeper. Without this (and the price tag) there'd be far less hate.
-
The only downside to doing well in the Chamionship, is you end up in the Premier League. 17 teams now all with 3+ years of PL money behind them, able to paper over any cracks they find in the January window Wolves, Spurs, Utd, Everton and West Ham all still streets ahead of anyone coming up or going down. Something has got to give.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

OK yeah, saying he was just as bad is a touch harsh. It's just frustrating to see other teams' fans spouting tripe like "that's what you get for sacking Cooper" and to see it coming from our own fans is worse. The tide had turned with Cooper before he left, he lost 5 of his last 6 (against 10 man Ipswich, he drew) we were going down under him, and anybody else that came in, after that awful summer. I'm not defending RVN, his tactics and non existent man management made certain we had no chance but look at the teams 17-and-up, we were never really in the same league. -

Come off it, Cooper was just as bad and had some of his own players in. There wasn't a manager (who we could attract) who would have kept us in the league once the transfer window closed. Shocking recruitment, and general poor running of the club coming to a head. Perfect chance to hit the reset button now. A Maresca-style appointment, good youth prospects and a smattering of generally solid 2nd tier options on the books. -
Luiz Suarez, Sergio Arribas, Kaiky Fernandez, Marc Pubil - Almeria Yeremay Hernandez, David Mella - Deportivo Antonio Cordero - Malaga (off to Newcastle) loan? Joaquin Panichelli - Alaves

If we're not scraping the barrel or being used as a stepping stone, who do you suggest?? Anybody not considering us a stepping stone, is basically accepting us as their level. I want someone with aspirations to manage at the very top. -
Liverpool H 0-1 Post Match Thread. We are relegated.
wardyfox86 replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
80% of our players are Championship qualoty, and the rest are just about PL quality but are never good enough to carry the rest. For every El Khannous and Hermanson, there's Faes, Justin, Kristiansen, Vestergaard, Daka, McAteer, Ayew. I'm not even knocking them, they are what they are, Championship standard. We were great in the Championship last season, and can be again. The issue is above the players. RVN should be gone tomorrow, followed by the board and then Top should consider his place if he isn't going to surround himself with a better standard of people with a clear vision. -

Got confirmation out the way, now sack him off and start the process.. Good luck to the promoted teams next year, that gap has become a chasm -
