Hauer in The Hitcher is one of the great film villains. I'm glad it's been reappraised in recent years. Such an uncanny atmosphere. Mark Isham's score is an all time great IMO.

I think the "source" Football Insider uses is basically FoxesTalk.

I had a long flight so thought to myself "I'll download FM Touch to alleviate the boredom" First FM since 2016 and I'm neck deep in a HSV save having sworn I would never go back. Side note: the amount of times you hit the bar and post in this game is absolutely ridiculous.

He's at that level where he'd be a top player for most bottom half sides, but never good enough for a side aiming for Champions League football. Bloke was basically bought in order to contribute towards Chelsea's home grown quota.
-
Who could've possibly predicted this?
-
Bloke's going nowhere whilst we're outside the relegation zone. The cups mean nothing this season. We just have to accept the malaise that has enveloped the entire club.
-
We can only dream of the heady days when we had players like Amartey. This lot are shat.

Ok just turned it off. Fvck this. Actually enjoying my Wednesday and don’t need our shit club ruining it.
-
Just turned it on. So we’ve been shit then yeah?

What do you miss from football as it used to be ?

Looking at the scores on Teletext. Hearing the classified football results read out by James Alexander Gordon on the radio. Simpler times. -
Catching up on this after having it recorded for weeks. Top telly. Surprised to see one of the Preston lads sporting some City clobber too.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
RoboFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Last week of C25K. 3 x 28 minute runs this week which seemed absolutely impossible not even that long ago. Can't recommend the program enough TBF, it's great. I think I'm at my limit though. I really struggle with hip flexor pain when running... I'm 6ft 4 and I know my form is terrible, but at 37, it's not going to get any better. -
Bloke was on a hiding to nothing there. Was only a matter of time.

BBC Radio 5 Live's decision chart
RoboFox replied to melvinmmelvin's topic in General Football and Sport
Not really surprising given they're like the 3rd best supported team in the world. It's the same everywhere. Sky will make everything about the so-called big six. Someone outside the big six playing? Let's ignore them and talk about Manchester United and Liverpool. That's why I don't pay them my money. Maybe listen to something else? -
I've noticed it as well. I swear that elsee efcee account is AI.

“Set back” suggests some sort of delay in our progress. It was way more than that. It ended all progress. It put us back. As a fanbase we really need to realise the golden age of Leicester City is over. It’s gone. We blew it in the most disgusting way possible and we’ve reverted back to the mean: a provincial yo-yo club at absolute best. Imagine having what we had and pissing it away. Rodgers is absolutely to blame and the board were, and are totally complicit.
-
Maybe blue-tinted hindsight specs, but even so I think we went into the game 2nd or 3rd in the table? Heady days, man.
-
Absolutely unreal night. We really were so good during that period It’s mad how things went south so quickly and the core of that team went on to get relegated.

Been busy working on some electronic stuff so I've barely touched mine in a couple of months and the strings have gone. Need to spend and afternoon cleaning and stringing and I can't be arsed.

Whilst Subnautica is an amazing single-player experience, I think it's just 2 player co-op which would also be great. Playing through the whole game with a mate will be a blast IMO. I hope they just don't make the same mistakes they did with Below Zero - having a protagonist that constantly witters on, and too many human NPCs. What made the original so great was the sense that you're there completely isolated as the last survivor of the Aurora with the only human contact being the voice logs of long dead crew. No protagonist narration breaking immersion, just the excellent sound design and minimalist music. ...Now I'm going to have to go back and play it.

Arguably Trump's biggest legislative achievement was The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — which was intended, per Trump, to super-charge the economy yet increased the federal debt as well as after-tax incomes disproportionately for the most affluent. U.S. corporations got to keep more of their money, and the U.S. government got less. Economic growth and median wages were way smaller than expected. Policy skewed towards the rich and so-called "trickle down economics" failing like it has pretty much for the last half a century. Colour me surprised. But hey, Trump will get God to stop making people want to become drag queens or something

What is America's obsession with plastering their beliefs all over their cars?

No Durian fruit? Haven't fully committed here have they? Bring some Durian goods in. The LCFC punters will go wild for the pig-shit, turpentine and onions with a garnish of used gym sock aroma and the vomit-flavoured custard taste.

Do you ever forget the names of Leicester players?
