  1. The Israeli govt has a few ‘extremist’ politicians in it - I’m afraid that can happen in a democracy where PR is used. I use the word extremist in the context of a democracy rather than an area where actual terrorists are running the show and literally string up opponents in the street. there will be an election within the next 12/18 months in Israel and those extremists will lose their cabinet positions, their voices will lose any authority/credence that their current status gives them, and just because they say stuff, it really doesn’t mean it’s likely to happen. they are appealing to their base. nothing else. I’m not sure that the more nutty individuals are even in the war cabinet. netenyahu has to keep them onside because without their support he’s imminently toast. What he says and what he does is also not necessarily the same for these reasons. He has to worry about his liberty once he’s no longer PM. The region needs him gone almost as much as it needs Hamas gone. but in a democracy that will happen …..sadly in Gaza there is no democracy for 15 years+
  2. who is responsible for this in St Albans ?
  3. Seriously mate ……….
  4. loads of posters were saying earlier in the season that he was a great player never saw it at the time and still don’t a little unfair that he’s being asked to play as an eight rather than his wide position but he just doesn’t have the strength for English football
  5. Strange final sub when we were struggling almost like the changes were pre planned and not subject to change
  6. I bet that photo isn’t Bethlehem……. and if you dig around the reports they all quote the same Al Jazeera piece and the Al Jazeera report refers to ‘areas around Bethlehem’ but it’s a good headline for Xmas on a more serious note, I read that Hamas are coming under pressure from countries such as Saudi, Egypt, Qatar and uae to think about laying down their arms to try and negotiate a full ceasefire
  7. It’s pretty standard unless it’s under an hour journey - Ipswich isn’t easy to get to if there is a problem on the A14
  8. Must be so good to play in our side doing that and so tough for the opposition
  9. But that’s the problem nearly all goals aren’t disallowed - but the fact that they might be is destroying our enjoyment (well a lot of people )
  10. We’re not atm but if we don’t go up this season then it will probably be a long haul with the number of players we’d have to sell
  11. Still think 35 more does it which is 11 wins and 2 draws from 23 games.
  12. when you don’t get the early goal then playing your first eleven becomes the wrong call in games like this hindsight …… ….
  13. Premiership mate ………
  14. Someone would have to be desperate to make it worth his while ….. and ours
  15. Villa are so jammy that they’ll probably still nick a win in the 117th minute !
  16. Surely sheff u had more than enough time to clear that How far back are you going ?.
  17. There are a lot of club staff ……
  18. Didn’t he say that he didn’t think he was up to defending in the PL ??
  19. Ugh how many has this fella scored against us ?
  20. Firstly I bet the trust that the money is in will be offshore and therefore the state is being denied either the CT due on the profits or tax due on what’s been taken out of the company secondly, it was quite usual in that period for govt to make payments in advance (sometimes full payment) to secure the PPE being supplied to them from companies. It could be that there was very little risk from a business perspective in terms of cash lay out. In addition, there was no risk of not being paid. If they’re going to argue that the risk was that the PPE they purchased wouldn’t be to standard then what’s the point of them ? These contracts should have gone to proven suppliers of PPE. If they didn’t have a reliable supply chain then they shouldn’t be pitching in the first place. It was a gravy train.
  21. Correct
  22. is he able to play the winks tempo role ?
  23. So Bouba as lost three coaches in 9 months !
  24. He won’t be allowed to play professionally again.
