  1. I read a tweet yesterday that said we should expect Russia to prod and poke NATO defences over the next couple weeks to see what the response is. They seemed to favour the Baltic states but perhaps this Romania incident is part of it.
  2. Bath lose at Bristol opens the door for us to take 2nd and home semi if we can win there next weekend in the meantime we need to beat Exeter on Sunday to be sure of qualifying
  3. Has pep committed anywhere yet ?????
  4. He’s our player till June 30
  5. EU fines Temu €200m for allowing sale of illegal products https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1k2ydn1rz8o surely a uk news broadcaster should be asking what our trading standards authorities have done about this in the same article ?
  6. Lightning maps don’t distinguish between cloud to cloud and cloud to ground most recorded lightning is cloud to cloud electrical storms are amazing but as you say, they can be v dangerous
  7. I was being facetious im good at that 😄 hopefully we don’t get an english winner next season.
  8. Do you work at a garden centre in St Albans ?
  9. Exactly need a second to relax a bit
  10. Doesn’t look official to me
  11. Hmmm this particular bit of common sense just won’t go in
  12. I’ve given up fighting with my missus on this she simply cannot understand that having the windows closed is better once it’s becoming hotter outside than in does anyone else have this issue with their female partner when it comes to this (and thermostats )
  13. We have a pot just that the club has drained all the piss out of everyone ………
  14. A basement is the solution btw
  15. Or maybe not ……… trump seems intent on leaving the gulf now so he’ll have some attention span for this conflict
  16. Hopefully they closed all the curtains !
  17. EMA currently 30% around 31c. That’s dry and you’ll need to keep taking on fluids as your body would lose moisture to the surroundings. crazy for late may
  18. I think it’s quite a personal thing my hay fever is nothing like as bad as it used to be but if I dont take an AH and I’m near grass/trees then I suffer But if I’ve had for three days running and I miss day 4 then I’ll probably be ok. I also noticed a decade or so back that some years certrizene was more effective and some years loretadine. Like I say - very personal (my 5 kids says that the fertility thing may be a bit more complex than a+b=c )
  19. Do expand
  20. No doubts it will be and tomorrow could be hotter than today the dry ground a big factor in the high temps better get used to these records being broken
  21. presumably the club want to be able to make more positive announcements of academy players signing deals - so they make it look like they’re waiting for a few to sign. were treated like we’re stoopid and a large chunk of the fanbase lap it all up
  22. we are an attractive target given our infrastructure anyone with finances and ambition, looking to buy a club with a view to having a PL club in five years time would see us as a good target. The problem being the price that king power would demand. (Too high) from what we read, there is no word of a takeover - seems to be about investment for some equity so looks like king power stay in control for now. of course if we don’t bounce back next season then that could well change the calculations by KP
  23. So we come to gw38 spurs or west ham my knee jerk response is of course ‘spurs’ but my mind is drawn to 4 years ago when we were playing West Ham - needing a win and Everton to draw. West Ham had no dog in that fight but when Everton took the lead half way through the second half they celebrated way more than they needed to and twisted the knife. so I won’t be shedding any tears for them this afternoon
