Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance

Don't get me started on the insistence on playing 1 striker, and modern football tactics in general. I'll ruin my weekend before it's even started. -
Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance

I don't think anyone had an issue in utilising him like Maresca did- 18 goals, best goals per minutes ratio in the Championship. No reason he couldn't replicate that again next year. -
This would really piss me off. You just know they will do it as well. £20m + pure profit. Blame it on PSR. Business as usual.
-
Teams finishing fifth in the league and qualifying for the CL makes me far more uneasy to be honest.
-
Fairly annoying, given the amount of strong lbw shouts we had turned down during the day! Still, there's runs in this pitch if we bat properly.
-
There we go.
-
Yeah this will be a good batting track on days 2 & 3. As long as this partnership doesn't get out of hand and we bat properly, we're well-placed.
-
Bonus wicket that, nothing shot to a nothing ball. Nick another before lunch and we're in a great position.
-
When you've got the form bowler in the division, why not i suppose. Sun is out and no green tinge to the pitch- looked ideal to turn up and stick 400 on the board today!
-
Surprised we've opted to field this morning, great start by Holland though- beaten the edge at least 5 times already.
-
I would have been 8, absolute class. Remember being in Corfu for the Argentina game, big screen outside, tables knocked over and drenched in beer when Campbell scored and nobody realising it had been disallowed for ages.
-
500 and out, nice round number. As is 200. Out of interest, does the 199 include his goal in the Community Shield? I remember there being a bit of debate about whether that counted a few years back.
-
Tifo presumably denied so all KPFC fans can get their souvenir bit of tat?
-
Just an easy coping mechanism for the 25 years we were better than them. Will be the same again when the tables turn.
-
Not even close to being a foul throw. The amount of netball passes which seem to go unnoticed these days and they're up in arms about this?
-
Wouldn't have happened without this moment, either. Turned that group into 'mentality monsters', as Klopp would say. Absolute sickener at the time, but you can watch this back with pride now, knowing the reaction we got from them.
-
Aside from (I'd guess) a majority of our fanbase viewing Forest as our main rivals, the location of Cov's ground detracts from the occasion. Just doesn't feel like you're going to the football until you're through the turnstiles.
-
I'd be quite content if he's first choice LB next season. Didn't think I'd be saying that a few weeks ago, fair play to him.
-
Ideal scenario for us. Win at Lord's and that table will look superb.

Forest 2-2 LCFC, post-match thread

I get the feeling the 'we don't care' sentiment will likely be out the window outside the ground after that... -
Hahaha get it up you Marinakis, you fat bastard.
-
Why the **** would you play on there?
-
It's been a long, long time since we had so many players who I don't want to see play for us again.
-
Really surprising, especially as they won the toss. Northants still have a shot at beating Lancashire if they can get rid of Harris soon.
