  1. I’m already getting flashbacks from the last must win Everton game. Great chance to go 3 1 up snd drew 2 2. Massive test for Cooper in getting the balance right. How Everton didn’t get anything yesterday I don’t know
  2. Totally agree about the lack of flair in midfield and even in defence with no Ricardo and JV who can progress with the ball. Total opposite approach to Enzo. Got a feeling of keeping the score down until half time and then pushing on. I hope for the managers sake that this works. The other thought is that if Ayew starts who do you bring on later? Continues to feel like Cooper has his favourites that he trusts and he won't take any risks with players that can open the game up
  3. Reading the article it suggests that any unrest may be coming those players not being picked regularly and it also says that Enzo was not always popular. It doesn't sound much more than guesswork to me. The next couple of games are going to be very important though because expectations are going to be higher.
  4. One article suggests he is looking for £100k per week. Not sure what the background is to him becoming available on a free but seems as if he wants a premiership move. Links to be usual suspects - Everton, Southampton etc
  5. Sale on for the 94 and 96 shirts £25 this weekend
  6. Agree Leicester need to start with attacking players supporting Vardy that will give the opposition something to worry about. In the first 3 games we have got to half time still in the game but the best outcome has bee a draw. It is only a matter of time before we end up 2 or 3 down by half time. Whilst it is a balance of risks playing attacking players IMO we just cannot set up to defend every game and then push on in last half hour
  7. Regarding Mavididi- he seems the one player atm capable of getting behind defences and I think he has a decent goalscoring potential. I think for his own morale he needs to be starting more games than he is. The question is of course whether he will be as effective when full backs are fresh but it is up to him to show that he can be. Of course we have Edouard to factor in- Ayew will know his game well so that could be a good combination. Ayew can of course play on either wing. On some occasions Abdul could make a great impact substitute with Ayew starting on the right.. I think Cooper is going to have his work cut out finding the right combinations and rotating them enough to keep everyone feeling in the loop. I also think it is important that Cooper makes changes early in games- I thought 68 mins was quite late yesterday and Vardy suddenly had a lot more service to cope with.
  8. I think the squad is just about good enough to stay up barring a huge points deduction. But the manager and players needs to share this belief and not give the opposition too much respect in the way they play and select the team.
  9. I’m a lot happier than I was 3 days ago. I think much will depend on how the 2 young promising attacking midfielders get on. I just hope they have the physicality to take on the roles left by KDH Maddison etc.
  10. This is a decent option I remember talk about him a couple of years back probably around the time we got Daka. Hope this happens
  11. Don’t think AFCON is happening this season but we will still be short unless a surprise last minute signing happens
  12. I like Mavididi but he is most effective cutting in and scoring off the left wing IMO. Surely Leicester can't rely on Vardy and Ayew until January. Where this leaves Cannon I don't know and I feel for the lad. However cannot say I'd be keen on letting him go on loan or selling at this point if business is done. One injury and we are relying on wingers to step up which seems incredible at the start of a season
  13. A lot of clubs can see that £5m is a steal. £10m not unrealistic IMO
  14. How often to Leicester try to offload players and teams refuse to give any obligation. Chelsea are desperate to cut their numbers don't see any reason to give way on this and commit to anything beyond a loan
  15. I thought fee was around £7.5 million so clubs lining up with £5m bids are a bit low. I would be surprised if he doesn't do very well in the championship so a sell on should be in place
  16. I don't think he was that prolific at Swansea but has looked very good at Plymouth so would be a good option to support Vardy etc
  17. We believe it was 21 million euros plus 6 now Leicester proposed. 23 +2 so 25 in total. Sell on 15% vs 10% so if we got over £40m they would get the extra 2 million back I presume. Tbh swings and roundabouts hope it goes through. As a selling club would prefer more up front cash personally the adds on we don’t know
  18. Enzo kept putting 3 GKs in the matchday line up I presume to outline his frustration with the balance of the squad. I know there is an injury issue so it is not random but still feels like a very expensive tangent when we are crying out for goal scorers.
  19. Just a bit worried that he will be sold on the cheap and the club will pay over the odds for a loan or other replacement that is no better on deadline day. Perhaps tonight he could be given a start if nothing else to give him a chance or increase his price in the shop window
  20. Wonder what the counter proposal will be? Guess 22m Euros plus 3m add ons. 25 million euros or £21 million equivalent?
  21. Asprilla and Sara both went for under 20 million Euros plus some add ons. But like most on here I don’t know enough about him
  22. Vardy had virtually no service at the weekend so an attacking midfielder to as far as possible replace KDH has been no 1 priority IMO all summer Ideally a big centre forward that can hold the ball up and score a few goals but if not any capable striker Wouldn’t want to see any more money spent on other areas until these 2 areas are covered
  23. Pleased club is going in with another offer today. I don't have a clue how much he is worth but the longer negotiations go on the more chance it will be hijacked as we have seen. Be interested to know from those that follow the Belgian league what we can expect if this gets over the line?
  24. I think there could be one or two last minute twists this summer. With claims in The Sun regarding the sale of Tom Cannon I’m thinking there will be one final push for a striker and possibly CAM.
  25. Cooper gave the impression in that interview that he was happy with his right back. I might be wrong but when asked about Ricardo going up to midfield he didn't grasp the question. This makes we wonder if he doesn't understand why Ricardo was so important last year in the inverted FB role. Clearly the system has changed but I'd hoped Ricardo would have been given some minutes by now.
