  1. New flats approved. Although it is good to see a brown field site being used, I recall that when the nearby flats above the Lidl store were completed, a Councillor who approved that development initially, regretted his decision. He said he now appreciated the local objections, one of which was regarding the flats over looking existing homes. Now though, once one tall building is approved, it no longer prevents this type of development. In fact, it even accelerates the building of others.
  2. Dropped off after Klopp had a pop at him.
  3. I've just read the 1st page of this thread. Strewth, how things change......
  4. Doubt the players will turn-up..........again.
  5. London. First game of the season too, I would guess.
  6. He said in the week that one of the squad stood-up and made a rousing speech. Wasn't this fella was it?
  7. Battling our way through rounds one and two of the FA Cup, then drawing Cov in the 3rd. To think, if we beat them it would be classed as a giant killing. Oh my, oh my, oh my, how far we have fallen. (falling)
  8. Renew by 20th April, or what?
  9. By some miracle, we are leading with seconds to go when a Pompey forward goes down in the box following little/no contact. The ref reaches for his whistle......... I can't on. Please no, we've suffered enough this season.
  10. We're safe. One of just a handful of countries that has stood by Putin is Modi's India. They did so after the Ukraine invasion, and are buying oil from them to make-up for any supply problems due to the Iran war. They also have regular state visits to one another. Modi would be on the phone to Putin, pointing out the very large Indian presence in Leicester and the risk of attacking the area.
  11. Starmer could always use the 'Rhodesia Solution' to get out of it.
  12. The American public have voted for him twice now. Many, many still support him and there seems to be little if any chance of any impeachment.
  13. Our great grandchildren might, one day, seen us ascend to the giddy heights of Championship football.
  14. Might be an idea to start doing that again, given how much s4it we are are seeing these days
  15. Any chance this pic can be altered using AI to show Nigel throttling Top?
  16. How did he manage that? I was quoted £400 to have one front tooth removed and replaced with an implant and that was on the NHS.
  17. My opinion on the players are so low, I wouldn't put it past them to cynically put in a good performance to win. This then gives us just tiny bit of hope that they can bring crashing back down in the next match.
  18. I wonder if they email the players on Monday morning? Dear (insert players name here) We noticed that yet again, you couldn't be arsed to even remotely put any effort into your performance on Saturday. We would welcome your feedback as to the reasons behind this. Yours.......
  19. The American public have now voted twice for Trump and he still has a significant following despite all the negative happenings that is affect us all, including America, due to his bizarre meddling with world affairs. This, plus the fact there seems to be no checks and balances to curb his dictatorial behaviour, suggests that the USA is getting totally unreasonable and out ot control to a great extent. As Al Murray's alterego, The Pub Landlord, once said, America, a good idea that's got out of hand.
  20. Next LCFC manager?
  21. Yeah, I just added incapable before seeing your post.
  22. Still wonder if it's something to do with his mother. 'You're destroying your fathers legacy. Don't you dare walk away until you sort it out.' Trouble is, he's incapable of doing so.
  23. Absolutely loved watching all the Artemis moon shot coverage these last few days. Brilliant achievement. Just watching them onstage during that conference though, had me turning off. Blubbering as they spoke, comments like, 'Love you guys' and tear filled eyes - yuk. I wish anyone but the the Yanks had achieved it.
