I shivered a little around 10:30 this morning, even had goosebumps appear. I was sitting in a shady area of our garden, with just shorts on, when a breeze gently wafted by. I even went brrrrr. I assume my body has been used to 30+ degrees for days so a temp of 23 plus a little 'chill factor' from the breeze came as a bit of a shock.

Whilst the cameras are running. Strewth! I really am cynical about this coming season.

Remembered reading a reminder earlier this summer about putting water out for the birds. We've kept our bird bath and a small bowl filled and they certainly appreciate it. We've had birds not only drinking from it but also the odd one taking a bath.

I wasn't alone on here in saying that the last set of local election results, although outstanding for Reform, would transpire as being their peak. I think their support will begin to unroll and with the controversial Farage in charge, will deminish still further. He certainly looked 'rattled' when they tried to interview him yesterday on his return from America.
