Trouble is with nodding off, you wake up and realise it isn't all a bad dream

It wasn't too long ago that if we were chasing an equaliser deep into the second half, I would be on the edge of my seat, fidgeting and biting nails. Now? I've actually nodded off for a couple of mins - twice.

Cycling along a street in New Parks, when three youngsters on scooters, I guess aged no more than 10, were coming towards me in the opposite direction. One on the pavement the other two edging towards my side of the road. Sod 'em I thought, I'm not moving out the way or stopping they can get back on their side of the road. As they drew nearer and nearer, it was obvious they hadn't even seen me as they were so deep in conversation with each other, so I had to edge my side of the road quite tightly. They passed by, totally oblivious to my presence.

When the LCB Depot was indeed a depot for the buses, they had team in our snooker league. I was playing a guy there many moons ago when someone walked during our match and said, Its the first time he'd seen snooker played on that table. Tbf, there was several suspicious stains on the cloth.
