  1. Treasure trove for Beatle fans
  2. May not help everyone, but has helped many.....
  3. Just happened upon this piece about remaking some classic Irwin Allen Sci-fi series from the 60s. I used to watch all these shows as a youngster and do wonder what modern techniques such CGI, AI etc could do for them.
  4. Indeed. You would think their fans would relish the chance to visit a state of the heart stadium, heaving with over 30 000* other supporters in such a vibrant atmosphere. * KP official attendance
  5. Four or five summers ago, we were having weather similar to this with scorched and brown grass everywhere - except a mates front lawn. It was green and luscious. It really stood out compared with everybody else's. He watered it regularly despite requests to conserve water. As a mate, I tried to have a calm conversation about it but he became quite animated defending his choice to nurture his grass. Not seen him this summer but would guess it's the same.
  6. Russia drone targets civilian. Frightening.
  7. Bournemouth are a top half Premier League side whereas we.......
  8. You're virtually newly weds compared to me and Mrs. FFF. Reminds me of a chat with some work colleagues that had turned into a discussion about how many different partners we had slept with. This chat even included a couple of women. I kept quiet. If all their stories were true and could be equated into a league table, I would have been mathematically relegated by Christmas. That said, I have a theory . Ask a male how many partners they've had and they'll double it. Ask a female, and they'll halve it.
  9. Such a wonderful, positive post.. Then I saw your username.......
  10. Have a job with us Mr. Wenger, they said. Tour the world, all expenses paid, they said. Help develop football globally, they said. You'll be working right alongside the FIFA president, they said. I didn't realise my main duty would be to prevent him from getting wet.
  11. I hope you didn't compile this post while you were waiting for your meals to arrive at your celebratory meal out together?
  12. I wonder what sort of response KP would Give? Dear Mark, Thank-you for informing us of your fall. If you are unable to attend matches this season, we remind you your ST is not transferable and must only be sold through the clubs official resale platform. Yours.....
  13. From my experience of Argos, I thought it stood for, All Required Goods Outta Stock.
  14. Didn't Dean Smith do something about the entitled 'culture' at Seagrave too? Iirc, it was telling the players to return their own plates and cutlery after their meals.
  15. Oh I'm very aware of that, hence my India example. India was just one of a handful of countries not to place sanctions on Putins Russia after the invasion of Ukraine . Not only that, they continued to buy Russian oil. Where these sort of resources are available - or become available - lack of moral behaviour and selfishness will come to the foremost.
  16. Rubber Soul boxset is now available - in various formats.......... and budgets
  17. Take a listen to this..... It is estimated that just one Shuttle bay load of Helium 3 which is found in abundance, frozen in the water in the Moons south pole, could fuel the USA for ten years! No wonder India chose this region to land their probe and explore.
  18. It could act as an unofficial 'referendum? All those affected by these changes totally abstain from taking part.
  19. City expansion very much against the publics wishes.
  20. I did take look at the exact scene as it is now on Google Maps. I often do this when @davieG posts a nostalgic pic, just to compare. However, and this is a positive, the equivalent view is often obscured by trees. This was the case too with the London Road station shot.
  21. I think it was on a news report I saw, where they reported on a viewing area where Israelis could sit and watch the bombardment of much of the Gaza strip. They had even installed vending machines for their comfort whilst watching such destruction. I couldn't believe what I was watching.
  22. Satellite view of drought From a BBC piece.
