I absolutely think people can have relatively happy lives through this approach but how much more glorious, spirited, unified can it be if we build our house (society) on rock (objectivity) rather than sand (subjectivity). Anyway fake news, misinformation, echo chambers and truth based on feelings sucks imo. It’s a shame we all, myself included, lap it all up by paying the media to feed it to us.

Agreed - Truth matters so much. Humanity is determined to believe in the concept “if it is true for you then fine” or “live your truth” I wish they taught Epistemology at an early age in schools, so that people were more critical and had a firm foundation from where to think about things.

They are my thoughts so not pulled from anywhere. Everton have been much stronger recently, are at home and have everything to play for. Bournemouth will likely be on the beach. I find it incredibly unlikely that Bournemouth will win hence the 10%. I hope they do though!

I’d put as this: Everton lose - 10% Everton Draw - 30% Everton Win - 60% Leicester Win - 40% Leicester Draw - 20% Leicester lose - 40% As a Leicester win is needed there is a 40% chance of Everton result keeping us up. Of the results at Everton that would keep us up, the probability would be 40% to go in our favour. therefore we can times them to forget to get probability of staying up: 2/5 our game goes how we need it to 2/5 their game goes how we need it 4/25 chance which becomes 16%

If Everton win we go down If Everton Draw or lose and we win, we stay up. if we draw or lose we go down. I think there is a 40% chance Everton will draw or lose. I think there is a 50% chance we will win. Therefore I think there is a 20% chance we will stay up.

If only Everton were away to a team like Liverpool or United needing a win for champions league. If that were the case I’d back us to beat West Ham and stay up. Bournemouth have nothing to play for and Everton are at home, I can’t see anything but an Everton win. So we go down regardless. I get that had we lost last night, Everton could have just settled for a point to stay up and there is now some pressure on them but I think we should have gambled last night personally. ah well I was expecting us to go down and at least there’s a tiny chance we won’t in the final day.

It was in our hands, it isn’t now. If Timmy scored then we’d be saying it was a masterclass but I will unashamedly say I am fuming that we didn’t go for all 3 from the off.

We really need to score first. We were actually not awful for the first 10 against Liverpool, if we can start like that and actually convert a chance, we have a shot. Really nervous that we are going to start well but not score, they get a jammy goal and we just melt and end up getting battered.

Assuming we were actually capable of winning some games, mathematically we’re not in a terrible place providing Leeds lose or draw today. Everton can finish on 36 Leeds can finish on 34-35 (assuming lose or draw today) that means it’s in our hands with the goal difference and we just have a play off semi final against Newcastle and a play off final against West Ham. if Leeds win today, we have to win both and Tottenham hold Leeds to a draw or defeat. it’s actually really doable! Argyhhh hope! shame we’re doggo and will get thrashed by Newcastle tomorrow.

As long as Leeds lose or draw tomorrow it is in our hands and a win against Newcastle and West Ham secures safety. Unfortunately we will lose 5 nill on Monday

Not convinced me I’m afraid. Speeding and middle lane hogging can both get in the bin. I appreciate you said you give space but the correlation between speeding and tailgating is undeniable. It might well be the case that a higher speed limit would be a good thing but until one was in place your arguments are irrelevant.
