  1. Going to be a really tough game especially given the knocks we have picked up, means that Marti may have to turn to a lot of younger, inexperienced players for a game against an improving Sheffield United in what will be an intimidating atmosphere. We will need to be brave and patient as it could be a real backs to the wall type of game but longer term this kind of test will be good grounding for the likes of Aluko, Page, Monga, Thomas etc if included/called upon
  2. Hopefully this frees up budget for us to bring in someone who can be a lot more effective.
  3. I am a bit the same. I actually really like Marti and I want him to be a success, I also feel there is a lot of stuff going on in the background that hasn’t helped him in these early months, it will be interesting to see where we are as a squad come the end of the transfer window. If we can get 4 or 5 of the usual suspects out and that creates some opportunity to bring in 3 or 4 frees/loans then it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out as the nucleus of the current matchday squad do seem to behind him.
  4. It makes no sense so can only assume it’s part of the loan agreement that if fit be must be in the matchday squad. Can be the only explanation.
  5. Don’t underestimate or devalue just how important he is in this team for a couple of reasons, the 1st is the amount of hard graft he puts in, he covers every blade of the pitch, is very disciplined and this enables JJ to have more licence to get forward and influence the game. 2nd he is a fantastic professional, great attitude and this is very important when you have a squad with a lot of young emerging academy talent, he is a very good role model. He will always get a fair amount of criticism and expectation on performance level due to his price tag but this really isn’t his fault or choosing. He is proving to be a very important cog in Marti’s team and I have a feeling once some of the bad eggs have gone he will become one of the senior group of players and I think he will kick on even more, as will the team around him. As others have said we could do with a few more of our more experienced pro’s having his attitude and professionalism.
  6. Bring him back and on the bench as cover for Skipp and JJ who will not go through the season being able to play 90 minutes week in week out, would get minutes from the bench and start odd games as rotation and injury/suspension cover.
  7. If there is any opportunity to terminate the loan and then use the money to bring in more pressing positions. We can use the opportunity to give players like Page and Monga more minutes to develop.
  8. I thought he offered a lot more in terms of energy, intensity and pressing, we definitely pushed further forward as soon as he replaced Ayew.
  9. I also thought he looked to be more progressive and forward thinking with his passing.
  10. Great to see so many young lads on at the end and holding on. Definitely feels that there is a lot going on behind the scenes at Seagrave and slowly but surely we are seeing a squad of players who actually want to be here and are committed. Will be a bumpy journey as we lack a bit of quality but the young lads gave a decent account of themselves and was good to see us press more and play with more energy in the last 30 minutes.
  11. Graham Brock waded in windmilling anyone who has a bad word to say against KPFC and Rudkin 😂😂
  12. This football is so lame and one dimensional, really hope we don’t come out in the 2nd half and do our usual of sitting back and inviting pressure.
  13. Fecking madness that as pony aa we have been this season, as it currently stands we are still only 3 points of a play off place
  14. Let’s hope we can hold out now until half time and then kill the game off
  15. Where the hell would we be without JJ we are absolute muck aside from him and maybe Abdul.
  16. We look so poor out of possession, wide open and so easy to play through on transitions.
  17. He’s going to get a win again, reminds me so much like Puel when he managed to cling on when he looked like he was one defeat away from the sack and then he would pull a win out of somewhere.
  18. Can’t believe given the last 2 results and performances he has barely made any changes, unbelievable.
  19. Agreed that horse looks like it’s bolted now after the zero action and communication following that initial interview. It just feels like it was all just words as a reaction to the chanting at Norwich.
  20. Absolutely, Nuno would be a brilliant appointment. I had no issue with Cooper being ex Forest it was the fact he was absolute muck that bothered me.
  21. I wouldn’t disagree that the club needs to get a grip on its finances but that has to be across the board, putting players on lengthy expensive contracts and overpaying on fees has to stop as that will be the biggest way to get our spending under control.
  22. If it’s true, the wording and structure of the email is very similar to the Christmas pay email from Monika. If true it’s pretty clear that the club is tightening its belt from a non critical football operations cost and cash flow perspective. Two decisions that don’t directly impact the day to day football side but clearly sends the message that non essential expenditure is being cut and some of the benefits and perks enjoyed by the non playing staff is slowly being reduced. I can honestly foresee a wave of redundancies being announced in the coming months.
  23. Tom Collomose is following the KP Out X account also with the likes of the @Ric Flair and Jake Watson sharing it hopefully it won’t be long until the likes of Rob Tanner, Radio Leicester and Jason Bourne of Talksport start discussing it in more depth
  24. I will say it again his poor form and the mistakes coincides with the new goalkeeper coach coming in, I have a feeling he is being asked/coached to do things differently and it’s having a negative impact on his decision making and form.
  25. Plus it was pre King Power, almost feels like the club didn’t exist pre their takeover or involvement.
