  1. And your incoming substitute to replace Jamie Vardy is Leicester’s new number 9 ……… Nick Di Marco, come on lad, save us again 😂
  2. Only 27 years old as well so in his prime would be a superb addition.
  3. Just filled my in, decent survey, whether the club take any notice of it is a different matter entirely but at least we are voicing our opinion.
  4. If we do would think that would be dependent on RVN staying on
  5. It was interesting that there was no sign of Vestergaard in the post match squad pic with Vards but Winks was there.
  6. Yeah I agree I think he looked pretty good when he played as a high 8 away at Stoke although only played there for 45 minutes and was taken off at half time, never to play there since. I also think he would make a brilliant right back, good engine, disciplined and physically would do well.
  7. I could also see Chelsea, especially as Enzo is there, would be a great back up and rotation option for Jackson.
  8. Absolutely the perfect way for him to bow out 13 Years to the day he signed 500th appearance scores his 200th goal playing at home in front of a packed KP win 2-0 in his final match it makes absolute sense for him to bow out this way rather than next week at Bournemouth. It’s a strange feeling to wake up in a world where Jamie Vardy is no longer a Leicester City player, it’s going to take some getting used to, even 1st day of pre season and the photos of players coming into the building and then the training shots, will be so weird not seeing our Goat there.
  9. I think now Vardy has left, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we start to see and hear more about Ruud’s position, the next 7 days will be interesting, Top is here and the season concludes next week so highly likely it will be decided this week the direction of travel for next season. I would not be shocked to see RVN relieved of his duties before the weekend and BBM and Kingy see out the last game vs Bournemouth. I also hope that if the plan has been to move on RVN which the mood music would suggest, then they have already made their mind up in who the replacement will be and if it is Rohl then I will be happy and excited for the new season.
  10. I think he is gone and he knows it.
  11. I reckon it will already been pre agreed, if he scored he will come off at xx minutes and if he hasn’t scored he will come off at yy minutes, probably with a couple of minutes of added time left.
  12. Exactly, Enzo showed you can be a progressive type of manager whilst still changing the mindset and culture of a club.
  13. Which could mean Danny Rohl to us?
  14. Let’s hope Top is seeing that teams are starting to get the better of Man City’s style and he recognises we need to change our approach and you know what let’s appoint a forward thinking progressive manager who instills a Leicester City style.
  15. I agree and what I am saying is what is the point of paying off said turd to the tune of £3m to then replace with equal level of turdness. if we cannot replace Ruud with someone progressive then we may as well stick rather than twist with yet another duffer.
  16. Fecker doesn’t even have his coaching badges so the club get fined 22k every game, that is a little known secret i thought I would share 😂
  17. Again I am far from advocating keeping RVN but given some of the options we are considering is Russell Martin who premier league record of 0.31 points per game is considerably worse than Ruud’s 0.6 or Dyche who would be a complete change in style and potentially more aligned to Cooper in terms of recruitment strategy, I can see why people are sceptical to making a change for changes sake. I want us to be brave and appoint a progressive manager like in the profile of a Muslic, Wellens, Rohl or Manning etc than just plump for another manager because they have premier league experience. Let’s go for a manager with a potentially higher ceiling who can grow with us and could shine in the premier league rather than making a similar mistake as we did with Cooper and appoint someone who has experience, has a shelf life and is very limited.
  18. I don’t think he will I think he wants to leave on 500 appearances and 13 years if he gets his 200th goal then it’s an extra bonus. it has already been reported he is off on a family holiday next week so will not be at the club. I also think he will announce where he is going in the next week or so too, maybe the two are linked which would also explain why he isn’t that bothered about playing next week as he isn’t carrying on in the top flight.
  19. The club existed long before and will exist long after Jamie Vardy has moved on, however not sure the club will ever be the same again, he is the heartbeat and soul of the club, if ever a player represented a club, a city and a fanbase better than Vardy then I have yet to see it. I am fearful and sad and still cannot begin to fathom a Leicester City squad going into a season without our talisman.
  20. Agreed, also will be interesting to see if they can attract the level of players required to be competitive. Ipswich spent a fair whack on players last summer and in truth were still a mile off it, at best I can see Wrexham attracting players from high end league 1 or lower half championship players, where they do bring in players such as Cairney I think it will be like us in the Micky Adam’s era where you overpay aging prem players looking for one last payday
  21. That’s a hefty chunk of turnover/profit to spend on becoming a clubs sponsor, something very iffy here, wonder if they are the clubs official legal advisor/partner
  22. Winks is a very neat and tidy player, a deep lying playmaker who knits the play together and makes the team tick in a possession and controlling possession based style of play, he was excellent under Enzo, however he is limited, he isn’t particularly physical or athletic so in a differing style of play, he is nowhere near as effective. Personally unless we bring in Russell Martin, I would look to move him on as I don’t believe he offers enough to justify his hefty wages, the challenge will be offloading him to a club happy to match his contract.
  23. Couldn’t agree more, will be an interesting dynamic this season, Wrexham have gone through the leagues at fair rate of knots, but that will also bring challenges, there will be players on maybe £5k-£10k a week who have bust their bollocks to get the club into the championship, reckon there could be some disharmony and resentment in camp if players such as Cairney come in on 5 or even 10 times as much.
  24. Given Top has been over this week, and I know it will largely be to focus on Vards, I wonder if they may also make a decision and announcement as to Ruud’s future, perhaps given the Vardy announcement once our relegation was confirmed the club didn’t want anything else to over shadow that. Vardy is gone after Sunday, so maybe just maybe on Monday with one game left to play we see/hear some news on the way forward next season.
  25. I don’t want to see him sold In the slightest, however when you have managed to royally screw things up to the levels Top and Rudkin have managed over these last few years but you are still hell bent and desperate to get back to the big time in the quickest and shortest route possible, then of you can eek out £20m of pure profit for Nelson then I reckon they go for it as that equates to £60-£100m in PSR terms to spend on new players on contracts between 3-5 years, and i think given this here and now strategy we seem to be operating in, it will be attractive to them both, with little thought or care for the longer term…… Desperate people makes desperate decisions …………
