  1. If Riyad goes, we will need another winger, but don't call it a Riyad replacement. There will be no such like for like replacement available. We will need to evolve. Same as if we lost Vardy. They are quite unique players. With unique skill sets. Just like that Liam Neeson dad in the movies!!
  2. Boys if Santa brings you nothing else remember Mourinho's face. That's present enough for me!!
  3. The lad is a very solid and capable defender and in my opinion rarely makes shockers. He's a nailed on 7/10 or better every game. In this regard I can't understand the flack he gets. However I will acknowledge that he is probably the worst passer of the ball in the starting 11. He is extremely limited in this quarter and looks very confused in possession sometimes. If we want someone with his defensive acumen and who tanks it forward like Kyle Walker then it's either very big bucks or a lucky punt from the scouting team.
  4. He's been pretty hot recently, so I'll forgive an off day. He just better get back on it asap.
  5. That's strange as at Southampton he won countless flick one from Kasper kicks.
  6. There's a reason to Ulloa sudden return. Slim shady has downed his moody tools and will defo be gone in Jan. He just never complimented Vardy on the park. As Jamie is top dog and never injured, the writing was on the wall sometime ago. Shame as I really don't feel we saw anything like his best.
  7. I'm really torn whether we go full strength for this and rotate for the cup, or visa versa. League should always be priority, but to beat a flying city we need to put our best out.
  8. He will defo rotate. Strikers for one, Maguire/Morgan will get a rest and certainly one of our Aborra/Ndidi pair to. We can put out a decent side with a rotation. The ultimate issue will though be, how much will Pep tinker with the Blues. If loads we can win, if pretty much the same Man City = we is fooked
  9. Interesting stat https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/total_tackle?se=79 Is this why we can play free flowing football? Wilf is tackling opposition off the park. I think aside from his indifferent passing, he is playing really well in that holding role.
  10. I think Puel would have subbed earlier to give the big boys more rest. But the Southampton goal momentarily delayed that.

  12. To be fair as great as it was, if Kasper hadn't pulled off that worldy and they pull it back to 2-3 we would have had a very uncomfortable last 20. I think we got a tad cocky and took our foot off the gas. Nearly very dangerous. But the first half was exceptional. We were so good and in control.
  13. At the match. We have been so in control and dominant. Switching from slow careful build up to a quick flick and the attackers are through. 0-3 is not a reflection of our superiority. This is a more defensive line up and yet were killing them. The only negative Is the blonde bombshell is seriously back in form and will have many suiters in Jan.
  14. You joke but Riyad wears his in May during a mini heatwave. He will be weighed down tomorrow in some sheepskin number.
  15. He will play soon, we have got to rotate over this Xmas period. However to date I have been fairly unimpressed. Can't see what he brings
  16. We ain't winning this. Think how cold Riyads little hands are going to be.
  17. Did we really? That's nuts. He hadn't played a prem game in years. WTF
  18. We are certainly varying it and not overly reliant on the quick front to back now. Jamie is probably going to suffer a little by virtue of this as we are negating his main strength. However it will positive in the long run as we needed to evolve and we can't be overly reliant on one player and only have a plan A. The future looks bright. I can't emphasize the difference it makes having a centre half who wants to use the ball. This sets the tone throughout. Maguire has been fundamental to this change and probably Puel tactics as well.
  19. He does keep it ticking over really well and unlike last year's midfield we are looking to move it forward on the deck.
  20. I'm going to this one so I insist on a 0-5. Anything less will ruin my Christmas.
  21. Oh yes your right. Thanks for the two PM's with possible offers. Looks like I can pursue the formal route!
  22. Im looking for a spare if anyone has one. Cheers
  23. It feels like slowly his form might be moving in the right direction. Still a long way off, but yesterday his overall body language looked a lot better.
  24. We haven't really evolved in our style. With everyone available, including Silva, we have a perfectly adequate squad. So any failure this season will be about tactics & application, certainly not resources.
  25. In search of two Arsenal tickets. Live in London, so available to join the party right up to kick-off. PM if you can help.
