If we play the dream team - El K and Buonannotte - then no reason we can't compete with anyone. And who knows, maybe Rvn can sort the defence out?
-
Am I the only one who thinks we can do this? Play the two wonderkids and we stand a chance.
-
Close (for us Foxes). ManUre. We can do this! RvN will be happy.

How on earth did we perform so badly and get relegated with those players? So many good players listed for that season. 2003–04 Leicester City F.C. season - Wikipedia

Won't be a fortune but can see someone pick up VK for his passing ability. We may also lose one or both of Mavididi/Fatawu.

I've renewed my travel card. We're going to score 5 or 6 goals in most games now, so will stay up even if we keep conceding 2or 3. Well, that's the dream...

Keith Weller conditions! We're going to be a main draw on MoTd -
How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?

This is why God-fearing folk like me become gambling addicts. -
Watford fan at work is certain they're going to sign Iheanacho from Sevilla.

There's a video of someone water-skiing behind a van. It really needed a mock shark in the water.

A well-run club would advise its players to avoid paying attention to "noise" on social media platforms. So there is a danger they do read this forum! Has to be said, this forum/fanbase seems to work out our best and worst players fairly accurately, and long before the manager cottons on... Not sure why that should be.

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round (11th Jan, 2pm)

I'd like to see the likes of Cartwright, Joseph, Golding and Alves in the team. Give us a chance to see what they're made of. Too early for Monga? -
A good result against the Rs (given we're at home, why not?) and we've got some confidence to carry into the next couple of games... This is our do or die month.
-
Ok, it's not technically the longest, October is. But are we going to get any points? Cup game at QPR, then we have two home games. Chance of points there? Won't be easy, Palace then Fulham. Finished off by an away game against Spurs. We could struggle to get even two points. I'm going to predict six points, two wins are possible. But I'm deluded...

Villa (Away) Saturday 4th Jan 3pm (Match Thread)

Tend to agree. VK often gets flack on here, but his passing can be superlative. We will miss his influence on our game. -
As someone said, entirely possible that injuries have forced these changes. Shame, I was hoping for a more settled side.

Luckily the residents of London are well aware that it's the national government who are responsible for crime and policing, which is probably why Khan has been elected three times. The one issue where he's seen as responsible - ULEZ and the congestion charges - are where he gets criticism from people living on the outer parts of London (or driving in), but those in much of London are in favour of a cleaner environment (particularly for their kids). Of course it helps if you have a good public transport system so no need to drive a polluting car.
-
I just hope he keeps the same team. Once he starts making changes, it'll be Goodnight out and Ayew in, maybe an unfit N'Didi.
-
Playing for a PL team is giving him "a chance". And fair does, he's looking as though he "may" become top notch [note the "may" which you missed in the first post]
-
I'd compare him to Modric. Except the ceiling may be even higher.
-
We're showing signs of playing as a team again. Trouble is all the teams we play in January - Villa, Palace, Fulham, Spurs - could destroy us if they are on their game. We have to hope at least a couple of those don't show up on the day (looking at Spurs in particular) and we can snatch a couple of wins. At least there is now a glimmer of hope.

Good you found plenty of places open. A lot of pubs in Central London close for Christmas week as their core customer base, the commuters, are not around. Agree that Fitzrovia is a good night zone, still busy but avoids the worst of Covent Garden/Soho.
