Not just that. The proposed new tariff regime will hit other economies (and companies based there) hard. Investors may feel they need to pull out of economies that will plummet, and the US is seen as a safer hiding hole.

Didn't folk say that when he kept his previous club up? Maybe it's more than just lck, just saying...

nice assist for that goal.

Tend to agree. Even if Man U had signed Vardy 2017 they'd have had a better chance of the big trophy. So I suppose I'm saying JV > CR7

Check to see if there's been a meltdown on FT over the team selection. If yes, we'll stand a chance. If no meltdown and everyone approves the team selection (as per the Forest game) that's the time to worry.

The stamp duty changes (mainly double for folk buying a second property) could well kick off a major house price correction. Feel the fear.

Suspect some folk (like Rory here) are going to be left with egg on their face if Trump does in fact win. There again we're seeing Trump supporters already readying their excuses - "the Democrats will cheat like last time" etc., so maybe it is going to be a Harris victory. Who really knows?

Gets my vote. It is an away game after all. Stop them from scoring and we can nick this one.

As is Claude Puel

I've never liked playing Manure and the Florists in consecutive matches. Two five-nil defeats under Jock still leaves mental scars...

Thank you. Go back a couple of years (when I ran a shop here in NW London) there was a place took over by a ME barber. He'd moved from working in a place a mile up the road but fancied running his own business. It turned out he couldn't attract enough customers so closed up shop and went back to working for someone else. The Albanian hairdresser next door almost closed too because of lack of trade, but then started renting out chairs (and those who rented chairs brought in the customers). I'm afraid there's a lot of wishful Schrodingers' thinking going on here. Migrants are only here to take benefits and freebies, but if they do have the cojones to start their own business (and starting a barbers or fast food can be a low cost way to start up) then obviously it's all money-laundering (clue in most cases it's not).

Yep, this is what is so depressing now. We're now seen as a worse prospect (for a manager) than Bournemouth.

What do you miss from football as it used to be ?

Afraid this is my stop. Can't see much light ahead. It's been an eventful journey.

This. I suspect he'd be on the Cooper level at Leicester. Not that we're spoiled for choice but can anyone see 10 Hag motivating our squad? I can't.

I've just realised why he decided to go to Villa. The Brummy accent makes it the last place where he'll get knocked for his English pronunciation.

Little known fact. Forest had the same manager, Billy Walker, from 1939 until 1960. That's quite some timespan, from not knowing if Adolf was going to knock at the door, to just before the Beatles hit it big. -

Cooper bows to player pressure, and we see a little-seen face (so far this season) in the first eleven. Welcome back to the team Michael Golding. -

Clough and Taylor performed miracles at Derby and Forest. I only wish they'd done it elsewhere in the country. -

I went over to their forum to read their Demise of Leicester thread. They can't get over the fact their hero isn't seen by us as the bestest ever manager to grace a football club... Whisper it gently to them, that unless and until SC wins a league title or a cup, he won't be a contender for our top five managers. Oh, and apparently we're an entitled fanbase. Hint, it's not us who shout about our 'world-famous decaying football stadium'. Good luck in getting a replacement stadium built losers! -
I seem to remember Marcelo was on the verge of joining us a couple of seasons back. Ditto Isco.

Win, lose or draw, we're going to see a meltdown at some point here on the day (even if it's just the team selected and Fatawu is a sub). Not sure if I can stomach it, but maybe I'm just deluding myself and will be lapping it all up. May be a good day to take the sleeping pills and avoid the stress. Not a fan of this kind of fixture. -
Doesn't really bother me. I know I'm unlikely to be able to afford to watch Barcelona v A Madrid live (or Chelsea v Liverpool for that matter). Football has always been evolving. I remember the days when people in the game really thought football in England was close to ending, with unsafe stadiums and major fan trouble.. Crowds were down everywhere, and here in Leicester we could have attendances of below 10,000. It did mean poorer folk like me could afford to go to home and away games, pay cash at the turnstiles and choose where you wanted to go in the ground. I seem to remember one season there was no Match of the Day, as the Beeb thought there wasn't enough demand to pay the broadcast rights. Times have changed.

Another great question for the AI bot (I use CoPilot). Edit: Hang on. Didn't he score against them in the Championship? Leicester City v Middlesbrough - BBC Sport
