Ricardo. Nelson doesn’t need the extra pressure at that young age when he’s trying to establish himself.

I know it’s not that simple but would be really intrigued to see McAteer up front. He’s quick, presses really well, decent finisher & positioning getting in the right places and is obviously huge so could offer a physical presence up top He’s also not particularly technical or great at beating his man so not a natural fit as a winger under Marti I wouldn’t have thought.

Re. Che Adams - if he wanted the move and we wanted to sign him, I’m sure there’s a deal to be had with Torino where we sign him for €8m and send Faes there way for an equivalent fee. I’m torn on it, but wouldn’t hate it if we managed to sell one of Daka/ Ayew and it meant we got rid of Faes as well!!

Not a new contract as such, believe the club just triggered an extra years extension. Could be to add an extra million or two to his price tag…

True, just feel a year tearing up the championship and he could get a move to a bigger than mid table club like a Newcastle/ Spurs/ Villa etc Depends to an extent whether we have to sell or not

Actually think a season in the championship for us would be good for his development, and hopefully prove he’s got the end product as well to help him seal a bigger move next summer whether we go up or not if he’s one of the stand out players in the champ.

Reminds me of KDH a bit, as in good physically and work rate, but not the best technically. Hopefully one that could step up every level. Think a loan to a League one club would be a good move for him.
