Was watching the Soton game on the tv the other day. And even though they were getting battered by Spurs, it was noticeable how good the atmosphere was behind the goal where all the safe standing is in the second half. Wish we would follow suit as we have a similar bowl style stadium, so clearly can work in the Premier League. Got a real opportunity here to make a big improvement to the atmosphere at the KP, just hope we take it.

It’s always crazy the level of atrophy you can see in such a short space of time in his right leg. Long term would rather he recovers fully, has a full pre season and ready to go next year

As most of their threat comes down their left from Barnes/ Gordon, think RVN might keep BDCR at RM with Justin staying back to help strengthen that side, with Kristiansen bombing on to provide the width on the left and El Khannous tucking inside. The alternative is for BDCR/ Mavididi to play on the left with Bilal 10 and Buonanotte on the right, but think Justin and Buonanotte on our right hand side would leave us exposed. Did well at RWB for Fulham before. Don’t fancy Justin in that role, and other alternative is Kasey which isn’t ideal either. Obviously Fatawu would’ve been the preferred starter in that position.

Have taken the season in blocks of games between the international breaks. From the previous block we got 5 points from the below fixtures, which is probably about the minimum we needed from those. Palace (a), Everton (h), Arsenal (a), Bournemouth (h) From the next 4 we probably need 6 minimum, so far we have 3. Could really do with points on the board, as our run after this one through to the New Year becomes much more challenging. Southampton (a), Forest (h), Ipswich (a), United (a) Then in Nov/ Dec hoping for another 6?! Would leave us on 18pts from 19 games. Chelsea (h), Brentford (a), West Ham (h), Brighton (h), Newcastle (a), Wolves (h), Liverpool (a), Man City (h)
