  1. Greaves looking likely for Ipswich but Philogene looks trickier, lots of interest in him. With Palace selling Olise to Bayern, I could imagine they’d be interested. If Ipswich get him then fair play. Hutchinson and Philogene would set them up well financially should they go back down, and even if they stay up and do well I guess.
  2. Would they be interested in any of our players, Souttar for instance. Maybe that would be an avenue we looked at to bring the fee down. I’m surprised he’s being linked in a way, Atletico were keen on him in January from memory
  3. That is how you publicly thank a long serving player, rather than the tepid standard announcement following KDH’s move.
  4. We have two very good wingers, one with a lot of potential, and that’s it. Neither have played in the premier league before, who knows how they will adjust. McAteer wasn’t good enough overall last season, I don’t see him as a viable option out wide in the premier league. It’s a lot to expect Alves to come in to a premier league campaign and play wide or as a ten, with no first team experience and coming back off of an awful injury. I get that this isn’t a ‘sexy’ signing that will get pulses racing, but comments such as why is he good enough for us when he isn’t a regular at Fulham just baffle me. Fulham are what we need to be aiming to be again - an established premier league club. They’ve been decent in the transfer market, and sold high. Reid may not have started every week, but he has often been a threat and works his socks off. If he can create competition for Mavididi and Fatawu, I’m all for it. We didn’t have enough grafters last time around, we’re going to need all hands on deck this season.
  5. A steady Eddie sort of signing. Feels like an Albrighton/Okazaki type of move. Works hard, team player, hopefully the sort of attitude we need. We are going to need some experience, and on a free, this is a good move for me. Everyone is baying for signings, and as usual, when they start to come, everyone moans about them. We are fishing in very different waters nowadays. We need a blend of talented young players, with some experience to help them.
  6. 6ft3 Italian centre half, 22yrs old
  7. I think it’s easy to forget with Kristiansen he came into a struggling side having just turned 20, midway through a danish league season. I’m by no means an expert on the danish league, but I imagine the intensity is not as high as the premier league. I would be very interested to see him back after a successful loan at Bologna, with a full pre season under his belt, and see what he can do. He clearly has potential, and still only 21, not 22 until December
  8. My girlfriend invited me to her house where I found her sister alone. So I sat there waiting for my girlfriend while her unbelievable sexy sister was sitting next to me. A few moments later she whispered to me 'we should have sex while my sister isn't home. I immediately got up and turned around to head back to my car. I found my girlfriend standing by the door, she hugged me and said 'you've won my trust'.Moral of the story: Always keep your condoms in your car
  9. A needs must deal unfortunately. Incompetent decision making at the top, diverting from what made us a success, combined with a set of rules seemingly only devised to protect the status quo. A fair fee and a heartfelt goodbye from KDH. We need to get back to what made us successful in the first place, with some of the rumours flying about, maybe there’s hope we are going to do so, but it’s certainly going to be a big uphill struggle. We need to be smart with wages and recruitment, which up until last summer, hasn’t been good for a while now. Hopefully that changes
  10. Undisclosed
  11. Gone to Wrexham on a permanent deal
  12. No issue with the forest connection, plenty have had that in the past. More than happy to back him, it just feels extremely underwhelming. It does however show where we are at the moment. If he can be more adaptable than Enzo, I’d take that as a positive! It feels more of a Dean Smith style of appointment than a Maresca one.
  13. Winning the Premier League was the best and worst thing to happen to this club. We have lost our identity. As time had gone on, to paraphrase a quote from NP, King Power have delusions of Grandeur. We are becoming everything we beat the odds against in 2016, and it is sad to see. Rather than building their legacy, they are fast sullying it.
  14. Books weekend off work for first game of the season. 1st game of the season: Monday night Still, the run in looks like it’ll be key, and the usual Christmas time trip to Merseyside!
  15. Plausible move. Sure he played for Warne at Rotherham on loan, and Derby have released their first choice keeper from last season. Would be a great move for him - and us. Get a fee in and wages off the books
  16. Can only echo that, it’s a crazy, friendly, passionate place. One of the dirtiest cities I’ve ever visited 🤣 but the above far outweighs that. Ferry ride away from the Amalfi coast, Capri and Ischia which give a nice contrast with Naples itself. Napoli and maradona everywhere you look. Would definitely recommend
