  1. Everton are so poor!
  2. Having two genuine attacking threats out wide provides the balance we have been lacking and ensures that none of our key offensive players have to play out of position. We have scored 8 goals in two games and all four of our attackers have scored and or assisted. This means we now have a multi-dimensional attack that other teams will find it hard to shut down. As far as Tete's performance against Spurs is concerned, although he didn't have the dynamic impact he did against Villa, he maintained a potential threat throughout - receiving the ball in tight areas, keeping possession and then passing it off with precision. Suddenly our attacking threat has been transformed into one of the most potent in the division and Tete is a big part of that.
  3. Harvey is back! Big shout out to Kristiansen for giving him the opportunity to show what a talented player he is.
  4. Mashed the Spuds! Buzzing to have seen the cheating posers being put firmly in their place.
  5. Finally being given a chance. Couldn't be happier for him and what a screamer!
  6. Finally made him captain. Controlled the game today. Different level. Break the bank to keep this guy!
  7. Absolutely love the guy. Sign him to a longer term deal fast. It's like having a new player as Rodgers has inexplicably refused to use him for far too long!
  8. Marked Kulushevski out of the game and attacked to devastating effect . And crucially his overlapping runs have opened things up for Barnes! This guy is a revelation!
  9. Need to keep our nerve after that incredible first half! Nacho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Must avoid the usual overly cautious Rodgers' start. We need to be brave, be positive and seize the initiative when playing at home.
  11. Comparing sporting achievements across different eras is always difficult, but what stands out about what we've achieved over the last decade is that we have won the Premier League and FA Cup at a time when the playing field has been less even than at any other time in the history of English football. Just look at the small list of winners of both competitions over the last 10 years. In that context our success has been quite remarkable.
  12. Very impressive cameo from Kristiansen!
  13. Still just one upfront. He's a stubborn ******
  14. Rodgers - "But you have to respect the players you have available" yet he totally disrespects them in the same interview. How some on here still defend him is beyond me. He's taking us down!
  15. Barnes is clearly completely devoid of confidence. He clearly needs to be given a break and replaced by Nacho or Daka. Scoring today will certainly help, but his decision making is too often Sunday league standard. The two-on-one in the first half stood out for me. He was running in on goal with Vardy to his right, but instead of carrying the ball to commit the lone defender, he passed the ball much too early and behind Vardy who was then forced to backtrack allowing other Brighton defenders to get back and stifle the opportunity. It really was schoolboy stuff from Barnes. A clear goal scoring opportunity hopelessly squandered.
  16. The bottom line is that when you're in a relegation battle you cannot relinquish 2 points when you are leading with a couple of minutes to go. We are now a point above the relegation zone with four likely defeats on the horizon. Persisting with brand Rodgers is akin to playing Russian roulette. Despite the talent we have at our disposal (this group of players were pushing to finish fourth twice within the last three years) it's a dangerous gamble! If I we go 8 defeats and 1 draw after the World Cup break Top will surely have to roll the dice and show Rodgers the door but by then it could be too late.
  17. Brighton were different class and should have won easily, but when you are 2 - 1 up with a couple of minutes to go and in a relegation battle you have to see the game out. Rodgers is not up for the fight and lacks the tactical nous to make the changes necessary to see out a game. Our game management after taking the lead was woeful! I fear that even though we have more quality than many of the teams around us he will take us down.
  18. I have no words!
  19. Huge opportunity to steal 3 points wasted. Rodgers instills a lack of confidence and belief and lacks the tactical nous to alter his formation to see out a game. This clown is taking us down!
  20. Anyone other than Rodgers. A pylon has more fight!
  21. I think we all know the answer to that question.
  22. Sorry to break it to anyone who's still wearing their Rodgers tinted specs, but this fraud is taking us down!
  23. Dyche in the crowd!?
  24. No changes! Rodgers at his best.
