I think - I might be incorrect - that release clauses generally need to be paid in one bulk payment. Often teams will haggle over this (offering more money but split into several payments).

Mahrez would probably still be fine in the championship, too. Could maybe squeeze a year out of Kramaric.

Honestly, I like the balance that Ndidi/Winks/Brownhill has on paper as a midfield. Although I reckon Ndidi is gone.

I don't mean this as a knock, but generally women footballers aren't going to be able to generate the same power that men can on their shots - so the relatively smaller goalkeepers are kind of balanced out by slower shots. Anecdotally, I feel like their shots are generally more telegraphed too, but that's something that will come as the women's game matures.

Maybe, but Adidas clearly have priorities on certain clubs and everybody else gets handed a template catalogue to choose from. I don't mind a template if they're done tastefully and so you definitely have a point about half of the problem coming from inside the club; but Macron and Umbro regularly put out quality and thoughtful kits for League 1/2 sides.
