As much as one can feel sorry for a man earning big bucks, I feel a bit sorry for Marti, getting parachuted in with no pre-season, players having been transferred out and £0 in incoming transfers other than loans. But setting the team up to try to tiki-taka out of defence when we've got Stolarczyk and Okoli ready to fluff it, having Vestergaard lump long balls past Ayew, persisting with failing players, being ineffective at set pieces, selecting players out of position - It's not a tactical masterclass. You would at least expect a manager to inject some bite and snap, some enthusiasm, some heart, but some of our players drift through games anonymously, or are terrified of the ball, so we don't even have spirit to make up for shortfalls. I hate to ditch managers when they've been thrown under the bus by the hierarchy, but it's just not working.

We are terrible. It doesn't feel great.

2 or 3 joggers seen in that replay.
-
Well this sucks.

Given our injury troubles and Winks being persona non grata, I can see why Hamza is playing. I get that he is supposed to be a midfield destroyer, but that doesn't mean he can't *ever* pass it creatively. He seems to have played a lot of bounce passes backwards.

Blimey, that's a popular sub.

At this rate there is going to be a very well attended boycott from about 45 minutes...
-
Clean Sheet? Oh no thanks - we are Leicester City.

The ICC have said they are not going to do that, "for the integrity of the competition". Laughable, really. -
This has been fun

Mrs Vac (massive cricket fan, not my doing) is getting excited that Bangladesh might now boycott the T20 World Cup in India and Scotland are in line to replace them (as highest ranked non qualifier) if they do. Would be in England's group, too. We were at the last World cup game when Scotland played England and it was called off due to rain while Scotland were, frankly, on top. I wouldn't have lived it down, so I'm hoping we spank them if it turns out that way, this time. -
Their own fans have been booing them at a European game. Living the dream.

Oh that is delicious.

Our last two league games where we've won points were an undeserved last gasp victory over West Brom (admittedly a scorcher of a shot) and an injury time equaliser which was against the run of play. So, even when we win points, we are pretty awful and it's often undeserved. A large portion of this squad went on a record-breaking losing streak last season and we didn't score week after week, while we got repeatedly roughly pumped. This season, we do score goals, but we now haven't kept a clean sheet for months. Whenever we are on TV, they put up stats showing that we have among the league's fewest sprints, tackles, etc, so it seems that players who put in the least effort in the league keep getting selected. Our supporters have eyes, and they can see a disjointed side that plays in fits and starts, and a lack of apparent game plan, resulting in many fans staying away from games. Those fans who remain have lost patience. It's not inconceivable that Thomas or Stolarczyk could get booed by our own fans at a home game, soon. Confidence is low. A significant points deduction looms. So yeah, I'd say this is a low just now and it could go very much lower. Probably will do. If there's hope, it lies in not getting a major points deduction, surviving this season, bringing on as many of our Academy prospects as we can, and then offloading the dross on big wages from the squad. it's going to be tough.

Jordan Ayew's pitch map is just a series of divots and depressions in the pitch where he landed 48 times.

What you all moaning about? Good away point, that We move on.
-
We've shithoused a draw.
-
Needed a TON more from Bobby Reid. He's been largely anonymous.
-
Ayew getting a needless booking there and then throwing himself to the floor again, will help the post match comments about him, I'm sure...
-
Ricardo got proper done there. Stolarczyk doing exactly what they train keepers not to do. Another Non Clean Sheet.
-
Ayew just went down in a sympathy fall
-
Is Okoli our only defender? He's been everwhere the last 7 minutes.
-
So was that our good half or our shit half? Stay tuned.
-
Okoli and Nelson have done more playmaking than Bobby DCR.
-
Also on our injury list is Jordan Ayew, who sadly has a cauliflower arse.
