Ward has to know that he is rated as awful by the vast majority of the fans. Unless he has zero footballing and emotional intelligence, he has to have an idea of how awful he's been. I don't think it's fair to cast doubt on the suggestion Wilf has illness issues preventing him being selected. Whatever his shortcomings, he's been a good servant to the club. Any time a non Old Firm club wins something it is good for the Scottish game. The two arsecheeks have a stranglehold on the game here, and every kid in Aberdeen who resisted the temptation to pull on an OF jersey and get the bus down the road, I hope they have a great time.
