  1. The lack of dynamism is why he wasn't picked up by a PL team in the Summer - And why a lot on here were a bit underwhelmed by the signing. Good player, but a bit limited. Wonder what the promotion bonus is on his salary, knowing us it will be decent!
  2. Yeah but Guillem Balagué says he's a visionary.
  3. This is the only way to play nowadays. People who don't enjoy it are dinosaurs who refuse to move with the times and appreciate the technical nuances. You all need to keep paying your money and be happy about it.
  4. It's only over the past 4-5 years that I've managed to not let the football ruin my mood or get me stressed/angry. It's nice. It is a double-edged sword though, as cutting out the lows, does the same for the highs, or at least it has for me....and it's the range of emotions is what makes supporting a football team great really. I still celebrate a Leicester goal, but I'm not bouncing round the room anymore. I prefer it over being furious when we lose, but I don't particularly begrudge people who take a ride on that emotional rollercoaster - Not necessarily a waste of time.
  5. Tough night for him last night, but the build up play was slow and he was doubled up on a lot of the time. He's one of our match winners so can't really be dropped (rested) unfortunately. He's been a fantastic signing and I still think he could do well in the PL - He just needs support...and ideally a player on the opposite wing who can carry the burden, which Yunus couldn't really do last night.

Always thought he was a good player who needed a run of games and a manager who fully backs him. Must admit I’m backtracking on that opinion a bit now…🙃
  7. Second half was especially bad. How have we lost that though? Fair enough we didn’t deserve to win but neither did they! Unbelievable.
  8. You at least got the impression that Amartey knew he was dog shit!
  9. Faes might be one of my least favourite Leicester players ever. Genuinely.
  10. Definitely agree, but he’s done well playing there at this level - Should be doing better than this.
  11. I actually think we’ve looked reasonably sharp in possession and have done OK. Lack of goal scoring opportunities is definitely a concern but it should come. I know Millwall haven’t pressed high, but they are working very hard when we get over the half way line - They can’t keep that up. Ndidi looks knackered though, needs to improve or be taken off soonish.
  12. You’re definitely right with that. …but the way we play should be more suited to teams playing with a bit of desperation. You’d think they’d be a bit less likely to sit back at this stage of the season - Especially at home. We should be able to pick these teams off I we improve the performance levels a bit. Easier said than done I suppose.
  13. Nowhere near? There's only 4 players in the whole league with more G/A than him for a start? I'm not sure I've seen anyone better in all the games I've seen this year.
  14. The ironic cheers were every time Fatawu got the ball? Presumably because he wasn't been used as much as the fans wanted - Nothing to do with Faes? Not that I care if he was annoyed with the fans though - Be great if he tried forcing his way out at the end of the season!
  15. I'm a huge fan of the '84 original, but still thought After Life was great. Haven't had chance to watch the new one yet, but the initial reviews weren't too favourable.
  16. Not sure I fully agree with the last bit. There are definitely times in games when you need to try to 'calm down' and relax with the ball...to kill an opponents momentum for example. Straight after scoring not long before half time though? Got to be at full tilt here. Especially when you can feel the crowd turn like you could yesterday - The ironic cheers etc before the goal made it feel a bit edgy.
  17. Aside from the current top 4 and Rotherham - I genuinely can't tell the difference between the other 19 teams in this league. Maybe I'm a simpleton, but they all seem the exact same in terms of quality. Some are a bit more organised or have a bit more energy, but I'm not sure I'd consider a game against Norwich or West Brom for example to be tougher than one against Sheff Wed or Huddersfield...it's weird!
  18. Enzo was shouting ‘Calm Down!’ after we scored the first with ~10mins to go in the first half! Annoyed me for some reason - Felt like it’s the opposite of what we should be doing…We were in the ascendency, and they looked rattled. Luckily we kept the foot on the gas as you say, and did so even after the break. Was a good performance overall.
  19. I’ve never heard that before, weirdly. 😅 So apparently Vardy had what sounds like a pretty serious issue with alcohol…one little chat with Top and all was well. What a guy!
  20. Surely if we don’t go up the club will look to move him on? Every cloud ‘n all that.
  21. Very good post and pretty accurate unfortunately. We had fans on here saying our midfield was clearly ‘top 8 Premier League quality’ earlier in the season. Just absolutely deluded. A lot of our early wins were very fortunate. I was enjoying the ride but it felt pretty obvious to me that Enzo and the team were overachieving. Almost all of them are just overpaid Championship players. Can’t wait to see the back of a lot of them.
  22. Had a few beers but the belief is there again. We go again Monday!
  23. I wonder how influential a fresh face could have been… We do seem a bit stale and lacking inspiration at the moment. You can see why the club decided to try and push it through despite the PSR stuff in the background.
  24. Definitely. Get his lad and Tom Hopper back in if we can as well. The whole gang.
