  1. Brand? Do you find it works well
  2. The policy at our place won’t change
  3. I think the way the company car tax is in favour of EVs it’s a no brainier if you can chop it in instead of a car allowance etc. it’s a rare perk where you can shaft HMRC rather than the other way around these days. Happy to advise if you need it
  4. £0 if you put chargers in your workplace for everyone to use for free . On a serious note if you don’t have free access I guess based on a 70kw car, at 25ppk it going to cost you the best part of £20 to fill up, I get 200 miles from a full charge. You can get tariffs where it’s cheaper to home charge, but I don’t have a home charger so other posters will be better placed to advise. if I’m ever stuck (rare) I’ll pay the 85ppk at McDonalds, I find their superchargers reliable and quick.
  5. Have a look on Twitter or other social media platforms, very open to voice your opinion on the subject IMO.
  6. I doubt the frames are shot - we had a similar problem where we replaced a few but it wasn’t too big job if you get a decent carpenter. If you replace the surround rather than the actual frame this can make a massive different with new doors. We used oak veneer throughout, solid oak is too expensive and the veneer look the same if you go somewhere half decent. Finish it yourself with a cpl of coats of osmo oil and it will look great - get your door furniture from Broightons in Anstey, quality stuff. All in you are probs looking at £300 a door maybe. If you paint the frames and trim yourself you will save money and it’s really easy.
  7. Are you retired?!
  8. I know he’s never far off
  9. You also have to factor in no £60 a month blanket govt support per month for all households, taking that into account most will be worse off this winter.
  10. TJ coming from experience if you want to debate anything controversial it’s best done outside of here, it’s a moderators nightmare and minefield trying to keep on top of a subject like Israel / Palestine.
  11. Where has ozleicester gone? Miss him posting graphs about companies making profit on a daily basis.
  12. Vet told us to play the new years fireworks on low volume on YouTube periodically, turn volume up after a few go’s. Cures 99% of dogs anxiety with fireworks he reckons. Have to start them young though.
  13. What’s the context though - have you got kids, a 5 bed house, new build or an old cottage etc.
  14. Do people who leave their phones in a different room have an old fashioned alarm clock to wake up?!
  15. Delightful
  16. Yes, my personal and work phone are the same so constantly on it
  17. Leeds much better on the night, I think their attacking options vs what we have are far superior - time will tell over the season where we both end up
  18. Deffo not a pen, outside box and FK at best
  19. Criminal if we don’t sign Fatawu
  20. https://news.sky.com/story/xl-bully-dogs-to-be-banned-from-end-of-this-year-12996952 XL Bully dog's to be banned from 31st December, and the govt are even incentivising you to have them put down
  21. The covid enquiry is pretty juicy. BJ obviously comes out of it terribly
  22. People who replace a T with an F when speaking. Fank you very much, somefink. Very annoying.
  23. Not long before this topic gets locked.
  24. Wallpaper in a bathroom - you're brave! Tiling looks decent for a DIY job
  25. Because it's 2023 and everything is sanitised, it's life.
