  9. It’s my opinion having worked in different environments and businesses for the last 15+ years. Working from effectively photocopying and making tea to now jointly looking after a multi national business that employs over 400 people. I’m not really fussed whether people agree, and I know I’m like marmite but I truly believe in myself and my ability to lead, deliver and get results. I think everyone is entitled to that - being an opinion and to stand by it.
  10. Agreed
  11. I meant management don’t just work in the office. Nevermind - it was a throwaway comment about *in my opinion* I just don’t think wfh is effective for *the majority* of the U.K. workforce, millions of people. Which has led to advocates of WFH to justify how productive they are - OK fine with me. It’s not that deep! I wonder if John Rudkin works from home 5 days a week, reckon there would be an uproar
  12. Sounds like we won’t see him firing until Christmas time.
  13. Management doesn’t mean office staff does it? You’ve just made that up. Your post is really about you not wanting to interact with your peers more than the wfh benefits, apart from having a fag whilst on your laptop.
  14. Exactly my point when you say hopefully in your first point, I just don’t believe generally the majority are. I’m not saying everyone is lying but 3 people on a football forum saying they are equally or more productive isn’t a true representation of the workforce and a bit naive.
  15. Also lime E- scooters are the best way to get about. I went with WizzAir on the return leg and they are terrible I’m afraid. I generally avoid low cost airlines at all cost but not much options to and from krakow
  16. I agree with this, it’s a must and so cheap compared to the main square. Avoid the strip clubs at all costs, few lads on our trip had some £1,000+ transactions each night!!
  17. There will be some exceptions for sure - but if you take the population as a whole - the average Brit is work shy and lazy, there will of course be people who do work 9-5 at home with no distractions, but more so there will be people nipping out, walking their dog, radio on, answering the door, having a nap etc. in my personal opinion I don’t buy it, but life’s about opinions.
