Don't forget he will (or someone will) have to chuck money in to keep us afloat given our revenue is about to drop off a cliff. We have a huge fixed cost base to service, so any money poured in won't be put towards a football manager style rebuild.

LOL Cuckoo I'm afraid.

Had a few Caffreys black stout over the weekend, light and easy. Murphy's > Guinness.

You come across as a real pecker sometimes....just because someone is right leaning doesn't mean they are a flag shagger or vote reform. Why can't you understand that. I'm right leaning but I'm not interested in painting roundabouts, dicking around with flags up lamposts, protesting about immigration with Tommy Robinson or share any views with that cretin Farage. I've married into a mixed race family, my son isn't ''white british'' - maybe I should deport the lot? Honestly.

I don't think so, many in the same boat. He just isn't that good apart from the odd wondergoal. James has consistently been MOTM in a team full of bad eggs, so I don't buy this bullshit that he will suddenly become this player when he moves to a lower end prem team. He needs to fix his own attitude first

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Tommy G replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes—Jordan Ayew could still play in the Premier League, but the role he’d have is the key question. He’s not really suited anymore to being a starting No. 9 for a team that needs goals every week. His scoring output has never been high, and at this stage of his career that’s unlikely to change. So if a club expected him to lead the line and carry attacking output, that would probably fall short. Where he does still fit is as a squad player in the right system: Mid-to-lower table teams that value defensive structure and work rate Managers who want pressing and discipline from forwards Bench or rotation role, covering multiple positions across the front line He still offers: Tactical intelligence Ball retention and fouls won Defensive contribution from the front Experience in the league But the trade-off is limited creativity and inconsistent finishing. So realistically, he’s at the stage where he’s a useful Premier League squad option, not a focal point. If a team signs him expecting reliability and effort, he can still do a job. If they expect goals and flair, they’ll be disappointed -
Anthony Herlihy – Director of Noncommunication
Tommy G replied to thlcfc93's topic in Leicester City Forum
Presume he doesn't know how to deal with confrontation. Someone who has clear communication and is good at their job (Piers Morgan for example, dickhead, but is never flustered when it comes to difficult moments) would be all over that, but he's hiding away as he knows any interaction with a fan is a net negative for him. -

I don't want to see Top on camera, waste of time. Rudkin won't do interviews, so it will need to be the CEO and McCarron. Staggered if it happens as they tend to do the opposite of whats required. -

Yeh already grasped that. -

It's a great opportunity for Top, the new CEO and Rudkin to deliver a structured joint statement on what has happened, what they intend to do and the direction of travel. There literally isn't a better opportunity than now. If they don't, then it's another big own goal. -

Looking at L1 top scorers - Wareham for Exeter has 19 goals, in a crap team. Surely he could do a job for us given they are likely to be relegated? Should be a cheap option at this level.

Too many spelling and grammar police on here already, don't be another.

The Anchor is fine weeknights but Friday and Saturdays the clientele changes - there was a horse and trap tied up outside last weekend so that gives you an insight, if you're into a bit of Columbian marching powder you'll feel right at home. The Cross Keys is much better, Sycamores is Deano, and the Red Lion is more 60+. If you can be bothered to walk a bit further the Chequers has a decent beer garden.

I don't lease or buy a car. My point being you could do a lot more with £50,000 cash (Pension, stock, ISA etc) than putting it into a depreciating asset. I picked £50k as the typical price of a new car. Of course, you could buy a banger for £5k and run it into the ground for 5 years and it's cost you a grand a year. Back to houses.
