  1. Nah, it's probably the same kind of contract that makes him too expensive to sack, like Rodgers.
  2. Just to score first game of the season, or even have a shot on target and build up from there. Blunt pre-season performances are nothing to write home about. Just shows what we need to buy before Tottenham and pray that the points deduction is anything below 12. Going to be a long, tough season, absolutely no question. Needs to be a mass protest against the board but the fanbase lacks the backbone to go through with it.
  3. Looked sharp but still no end product, so kinda as you were with Daka.
  4. I would be happy with 18th after this performance, never mind 17th. Garbage. On the plus side, this does remind me why certain players should be nowhere near a Premier League starting XI squad.
  5. At what point is enough, well, enough? There should be a protest against the hierarchy for sheer incompetence but the happy, clappy fanbase just continually lacks the bottle and instead goes along with this absolute sh*show that is supposed to be called running a Premier League club. Something seismic has to change. Selling our best players was not detrimental, as we had the financial clout and scouting system to find a cheaper replacement, whilst still having decent cover. This scenario is completely different, with the financial shackles in place, we are paralysed from improving the squad. Heads have to roll from up top for this shambolic fall from grace.
  6. Ugh, having Casadei flashbacks.
  7. Tommy Cooper. Without question.
  8. No, but I'll still back him. He is there to do a job all the same. That said, the hierarchy just finds new ways to keep disappointing me. Sack the lot of them. Think a Board Satisfaction survey needs to be raised.
  9. We won't have ti wait until March or April to be relegated, probably more like January.
  10. Agreed. Cooper is there to just do a job and keep us up and competitive. Critique him on his managerial capabilities by all means, even then give him a chance first, but personal insults is just wrong. I'm not happy about this appointment as much as the next person, but it's done now so get behind him for what will feel like a very long and difficult season. And if you really want to protest, head to the King Power and do it there.
  11. Best analogy I've seen on here in a long time. Kudos on that!
  12. Just survive. The gap between Premier League and Championship is getting wider and its getting harder to just stay up at all without spending obscene amounts, which we cannot even do thanks to our illustrious board.
  13. Champions or not, the figures are there. We have just successfully dodged an EFL-sized bullet and we cannot make any more financial mistakes. And he will likely still be a sourpuss when the trophy is lifted as he has been found out to be incompetent and reckless. JR, and SW too, cannot be trusted anymore. Time to go for both of them. But if Top keeps them on, surely you have to question his decision-making as an owner. And a question I pose to you all: Despite winning the league and achieving a promotion, should there still be a protest again the board for gross financial incompetence, without looking the slightest bit ungrateful for the best possible outcome of the season?
  14. That means he's getting sacked. We can only hope.
  15. It's alright, we don't have to retire it if he never leaves.
  16. That's his job safe and justified for another year. Said no-one ever, except maybe Top.
  17. Could have easily doubled the score if he was half as good as he has been. Just the defence in front of him that has been terrible.
  18. EASY! EASY! Little wobble and mini-implosion... EASY!
  19. All we need now is a Vardy hat-trick on the night we win the title. Oh, a d Preston going down to 10 men for all these challenges suddenly flying in.
  20. How on earth did Kasey miss that? Dare I say Daka might have scored that but probably would have missed it too.
  21. This poll means nothing if the Premier League take a leaf out of EFL's book and extends our transfer embargo. But say they don't, spend a little and pray. Worked around 10 years ago!
  22. A cracking game that puts Premier Leagye snorefests to shame. Thanks Hull, just Leicester one win seals the deal or Ipswich to lose one of theirs. The title is there for the taking, and a real party atmosphere on 4th May beckons!
  23. The latest financial figures show how much JR has f***ed up. There's no running away from it anymore. Even Susan tried to BS her way out of it with pathetic excuses. No wonder either of them aren't smiling, the writing is surely on the wall for both of them. Top now needs to do the right thing and put them both out of their misery. Their sourpuss faces, even when we win 5-0 at home, is a rainy cloud on anyone's sunny day. Get. Them. Gone.
  24. Less possession, more goals and shots on target? Winning games? All sounds very 2015-16 Ranieri-esque don't you think?
