  1. Imagine they'll look to run up a decent score first half and then second half will be them taking it easy as they have PSG on Tuesday night. People will then misinterpret Arsenal taking it easy for Cooper making adjustments and improving us in the 2nd half.
  2. I guess nobody sent Arsenal the memo about not being able to blood young players. Keeper 16 Right back 18 Left back 17 CM 17 Brought on 2 18 year old subs.
  3. Not sure how people didn't notice Winks last season He spent the majority of last season coaching players on the pitch and talking to them, this isn't a new thing.
  4. Welcome to the club, I joined a few weeks back
  5. Nah this guy is rancid. Just feels like he's taking it a week at a time. He's got a proper small-time mentality and he's not given any indication that he sees a future here. No playing style. No desire to develop our young players. Hes properly awful, its like having Gary Megson back. This is from one of the few people initially who was cautiously optimistic about the appointment
  6. Out of interest... How many people come in here, because they saw someone they don't like do something, usually on social media. Then they come on here saying how much they hate that thing, when deep down it's just the person who did it that you despise
  7. You can make a pretty educated guess that he had a big say in their signings, based on the fact that the only phrase that came out of Coopers gob for 6 weeks was "Premier league experience"
  8. Spider Kalac has returned in the form of a chunky welsh man.
  9. Plenty of experience on the pitch. Low block. Be "competitive". Maybe make one or two hopeful forays into the opposition half. Job done.
  10. Why is it worse? Never known a man to dislike a top academy prospect and simultaneously love Jordan Ayew so much.
  11. Man follows @Gamble92's advice of having plenty of Carabou experience on the park and still can't beat Walsall in 90. Get out.
  12. Unbelievable performance tonight from Coalville! 4-0 win against Lutterworth Town who are a level above. It's all coming together nicely. Mangan with another worldie. Every player put in at least an 8/10 tonight.
  13. Here's me thinking it was Kante.
  14. Ahh that makes more sense I was thinking that must be closer to 66/1 if it had been placed pre match
  15. It's made me genuinely ill to see people on twitter and in the thread saying that Haaland throwing a ball of air at someone's head is reckless endangerment of an opponent. The man's an absolute class act. I love the idea that people think he's scared of Gabriel as well "oooo he's done it behind his back" Like it wasn't just spur of the moment, Haaland was actually waiting all game for the opportunity to do it.
  16. I'd have thought Barnsley or Birmingham would have been brilliant choices. I think Birmingham have hit their max allocation of loans now though. A top end league one club with the opportunity for us to reassess in Jan would have been what I'd have been targeting. Any kind of senior football for 3/4 months would be an improvement on him stagnating here to be honest. If you work for a company that has a culture of no accountability though, why go above and beyond to forge those relationships that would come in so handy..
  17. That only being 5/2 is insane in itself.
  18. Rate the honesty. By-product of going out with a damage resistance mindset though, it won't change unless Cooper has a personality transplant
  19. Haha this is fair. It's all ultimately pointless until the clowns above Cooper are improved upon.
  20. That's fair - let me rephrase the end of that to "he did everything in his power to give Palace 30 minutes to score, by turning the game into an attack v defence training session"
  21. The results aren't as much of a concern, it's the manner of the performances. He's so incredibly limited or he doesn't trust his squad. That's not going to improve, he had a chance to come in with fresh energy and really have a go. Instead he's basically approached every game with a white flag being frantically waved above his head. The one game we accidentally took a clear lead in, he did everything in his power to give Palace every chance to get back into it. At this stage you'd usually be able to point to a few crumbs of comfort and positives that you;d hope to see more of. With Cooper there is literally nothing there. If you look at our team the majority of our players are mid table Prem players. He's approaching each game like a non league team have managed to reach the 3rd round. I'm annoyed because he's made me look like even more of a chump than usual. We should be putting feelers out for managers with a set of b*ll*cks that will actually try to look like we belong in this division, sack him off as soon as there's a bite from a decent manager. I think if it can remain largely fit and intact, this squad is capable of picking up 45 points this season. With Cooper's slop though we'll be lucky to pick up 30.
  22. Against us. So I suspect it'll be Justin v Martinelli instead.
  23. He manages to become more and more unlikable each time he opens his mouth
  24. Lose 2/3-0, barely enter their half. Cooper will be applauded for how "competitive" we looked.
