Listened to a few interviews with Jamie Moore and Allen recently and the past 2 years is the first time Allen has really taken it seriously. Previously it just something he happened to be good at and could make some money from with little effort on his part. According to Allen himself, he was close to having to pack it in as the family couldn't support him. Then he got the Fisher fight and since then it seems to have lit a fire under him. In the same interview he also mentioned that his grandad refused to talk to him for 3 or 4 months after he retired against Clarke Fair play to the guy, he's putting in good camps before fights now and taking it seriously. If he wants to give himself a pat on the back for that then fair play. I think he believes what he's saying, I don't think he's got it in him to lie or put it on, but then again maybe Eddie's in his ear and says "say this and you'll sell more tickets" Either way, i'm looking forward it. Feels like it's been a quiet start to the year but the boxing cards are coming in thick and fast over the next few months.

Hoping Del Boy signs off with a KO win against Wilder on Saturday, should be a good brawl at the very least

Buy them back at a reduced rate and then sell them back the following year?

I wonder where our wage bill for last season sits compared to others and just how badly we underperformed relative to what we spent on wages.

absolute wind up merchant That's worse than when thr commentators were sucking off Foden for his assist for Eze for England a few months back haha.

Nick De Marco smells a pay day -
I genuinely can't believe that we probably have 2 of the worst strikers in this league and Hutchinson or Evans didn't even get a chance. Considering the impact they've both had, it's hard to argue we'd have lost much even if the other lads turned out to be well off it. At least they'd have gained some good experience. Obviously though, I'm aware that if those lads were getting a chance and not ripping it up, there'd be a good portion of fans making out that we've left 2 premier league strikers on the bench who'd be doing much better haha.

Year 1 5.6m + 1.5m wages - Let's be kind and say we stuck him on 30k a week. 8.1m loss Year 2 16.8m - 20m - 3.2m profit (assuming it goes on this years accounts) So overall a loss of approx 5m on a player that who's improved and has a much better rep now. At least we get to see that +3.2 come into it's own in 2 years though.

Don't see it, his finishing is woeful and he doesn't use his "pace" (in quotes as I'm not sure if he has it or doesn't realise it if he does haha) when he's out on the wing. It's entirely predictable that he'd be awful up front and likely do less of the actual moving like a striker that Daka does. Has to be Mukasa or Hutchinson if Daka is dropped. Mavididi as a Striker and Fatawu as a wing back are two of the worst things I keep seeing on here

If only there was some bloody evidence of players going to German teams that play in Europe who are used as a platform for a bigger move... I mean if you don't rate him and don't think he'll amount to much then that's fine. Saying that he won't be worth a lot more in future because Stuttgart have signed him now is just absurd haha. Not even used Dortmund. Leipzig Stuttgart Frankfurt

Yeah I'd argue his brain and instinct are decent enough, hence why he was a bagsman in the Austrian league. Clearly he thrives on confidence though as he looks like he's never played football when it comes time to actually interact with the ball. It's a low bar, but actually seeing a striker make strikers runs and be in a position where strikers should be is much more preferable to watching Ayew do anything, but be a striker. So unless you take a punt on Mukasa in the striker role, we could dip down and maybe look at Hutchinson. As long as either of those can do the basics of a striker in terms of work rate and positioning, then either would be an upgrade as there's evidence of them being able to control, pass and shoot.

Whenever I think @Wymsey has peaked, he finds new and brilliant ways to say something insane that makes me laugh Never change Wymsey -
Enjoyed King Rowett so far, doing a decent job in arresting the decline and getting a semblance of a performance out of this group. Not sure how anyone can look at the difference between before he joined and now and not think there's been improvement and have some cause for hope. Obviously the team have shown they're still quite capable of collapse, but he's put the fundamentals in place that have seen us look plenty competitive and deserving of points.

Urghhhh. We know how this goes

Cherki doing some keep ups was one of the most entertaining things to happen in the game and Neville's about in tears about it

Get through the first half, let the crowd lose some enthusiasm and then smash Spurs in the 2nd half. Looks like i'm well in the minority but I'd much rather see Spurs drop than Forest -

Just seen the highlights. Obviously a good performance as Watford had no highlight till the end. Seems like if Daka was even league two standard then we'd be laughing Still, rather him on the pitch than that nob Ayew though
