  1. Awful deal, but devils advocate, he could double his value with a year over there. Edit: thinking about it this is a stupid point as they can just activate their option and then sell for profit
  2. Think Thomas is a player in which people are gagging to jump all over his average to poor performances to prove their previous agendas correct. Happens with Hamza too. Thomas was fine last night.
  3. Personally disagree. Think those last night are going to end up being in the top 6 and they were distinctly average bordering on poor.
  4. Agreed but can see us finding our flow too. I think the transfer window has hampered the 3 relegated sides - us and Southampton losing players, Ipswich scatter buying anyone they can. Expect by the end of September all 3 have knuckled down and are cracking on.
  5. Said this in the Fatawu thread recently, but feel both wingers need that underlapping run that Ndidi and KDH provided previously, so they’re not so easily doubled up on. Marti’s system is working well at the moment, but that’s a huge difference between what worked so well under Enzo and how things are playing out right now.
  6. It was. Really hope Evans gets his chance soon. Whether it’s because of contract issues or even just Marti felt Evans was a bit too raw in pre season. Proud of Monga and Page, Evans next up.
  7. If he was as good on the ball as he is everything else he wouldn’t be playing for Leicester City.
  8. Actually personally thought we went a bit more direct tonight than we have under him previously. First pass or two went short then we very much looked to go long once we’d enticed them in - not the most accurately admittedly.
  9. Did a job on Gray. Knew his game inside out. Telling Abdul that he only wanted to come inside every time he got the ball. Captains performance again
  10. So good at this level.
  11. Utterly baffling footballer, nights like tonight he’ll look like the second coming of Patrick Vieira, next week he’ll look like Patrick Kielty.
  12. U17's squad it is - with not a single player I've ever personally heard of yet. Underrated within the FA it would seem.
  13. Misses out on the U18 group too - Page named. Odd, I'd back him to be playing for the U21's by next summer.
  14. Surprised to see him miss out on the England U19 squad (Honourable mention for Page too) - thought he might get bumped up an age group or two with Dowman. Suppose it suits us and our best interests. Squad below for reference.
  15. Part of the new U21 group for the next cycle.
  16. O'Rourke is reaching unprecedented low levels in Finners tier list
  17. Well... actually Ornstein reckons he'll go to Chelsea on loan? Chelsea are so odd.
  18. Yep spot on, expect Facundo will be off on loan to Strasbourg.
  19. 30m from Stuttgart or Leipzig, with a hefty sell on %, I'd take.
  20. Only if you're lucky enough to have not needed his help.
  21. Personally struggled with a few knee problems over the years and Jim has always been helpful in transferring me to a more accessible area when I'm on crutches or what not. Bloke is a gem and can't do enough for anyone.
  22. That and his agent/camp using journalist Sacha Tavolieri as a mouth piece to attract other clubs and place pressure on Rudkin.
  23. Search up "Romano Huijsen" tweets too - it's comical. Biggest example of a journalist being so far up a players agents arse that he's forgotten what daylight looks like - can only imagine how much Romano earned from that little PR campaign. Similar happening with Tavolieri and Bilal here.
  24. Yeah because they're just tweeting out whatever line agents are giving them and even paying them for.
