StanSP Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 never even heard of this. sausage sandwich? no thanks.
iancognito Posted 3 April 2015 Posted 3 April 2015 Has anyone ever said "no sauce at all"? Yes and one guy even went for Mustard but Baker forced him to pick red or brown. If you've not heard of this, Danny Baker has had a show most Saturday mornings on 5Live for the last few years, the usual chatting with various callers, totally irreverant topics and he has a celeb or sporting guest on where they do the usual chit chat and play the "Sausage Sandwich Game". Two fans of clubs ring up, not even necessarily football fans, can be rugby or cricket or whatever to play along. The guest is asked 3 questions and the callers have to guess his answer from 3 choices. They get a point if they guess right and the 3rd & final question is "When XYZ has a sausage sandwich, do they have it with red sauce, brown sauce or no sauce at all" It's Baker's usual stuff, he doesn't get them on to promote anything, just for a random chat and then ask them 3 questions that are totally trivial.

Its a great show and there is always an interesting interview, I can remember Tommy Steele, Ray Winstone and Geoff Capes in recent times. Baker is an encyclopedia on music but disappointing football knowledge though.
fleckneymike Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 'Heart monitor on the dog' Priceless. Love the time MON claimed he'd knew people with aids get better quicker than Ian Marshall. (Obviously before Farrage made aids quips not cool)

Guest Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 I love sausage sandwiches but would never have red or brown sauce on them - yuk!! Mustard is a possibility but without anything other than the grease from the sausage is great.
