Leicesterpool Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Nobody got lower than a six from me, highest was Ulloa with 9 and Vardy with 8.
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Ulloa motm just ahead of Huth and Vardy. Surely Pearson will have a 100% stay rating.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Schmeichel 7 - did what he needed to do well. Wasyl 7 - solid for the most part but dived in a bit too much in the first half for my taste. Huth 7 - so dependable Morgan 7 - did well, scored Albrighton 8.5 - two assists and perpetual energy. Cambiasso 5 - thought he wasnt good today to be honest, particularly first half. James 6 - average game Schlupp 7 - some great things, some unbelievably shit things. Standard Jeff. Mahrez 6 - thought he had a crap first half but was more like the Mahrez of old in the second period. Vardy 8.5 - MOTM. Ran their defenders tagged. Ulloa 8 - absolutely world class first 10 minutes. Then spent the rest of the first half in full-on donkey mode before sticking together a decent second half. Subs: De Laet 7 Hambiasso n/a Kramaric n/a
Monsell1976 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Kaspers kicking was crap today, 6 all around, Newcastle was that poor, we won at a canter
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Only Schmeichel gets less than a seven because he didn't have much to do. I think Vardy was MOTM, timed his runs in behind so well and pushed them back all game. Also, the amount of headers our front two won today was incredible. Every time we lumped the ball up I expected to win it.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 I'd be amazed if Newcastle don't come out bottom of the pile in away teams performance after that. Dreadful.

The only player who didn't perform that well was Mahrez for me, thought the rest of them were great.
LanguedocFox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Entire team was fvcking brilliant - absolutely sensational. And let's have none of the old pony about Newcastle were poor and Enderby Town would have beaten them. You play the team facing you on the day, and we smashed them.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Think you're being harsh tbh. The only player who didn't perform that well was Mahrez for me, thought the rest of them were great. Maybe but I suspect that's a view coloured slightly by the second half. First half we didn't do enough to control the game in my opinion. The two goals were obviously great but aside from that we struggled to retain possession against a poor, disorganised side or take advantage of the absurdly high line Newcastle were playing. Second half we were great but as I was going through the ratings I was thinking "yeah, Mahrez deserves a 7" and then remembering that he did bugger all for half the game. My ratings still average out to about 7 which is "good" according to the ratings system and actually I thought we were slightly better than that so maybe you're right. I do think we were better against Swansea though.
NewquayFox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 High marks for all with Vardy MOTM, Pearson would have got a 10 if he took Vardy off (to rest him) and left Ulloa on, he would have scored that header at the end for his hat trick... Newcastle were a disgrace to professional football.... Ref was very good as were his Assistants...,, Up the City....
LCCFox96 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 8's for Albrighton, Cambiasso, Vardy and Ulloa. 7's for everyone else, today was a very strong team performance and we made Newcastle look very, very poor. Work rate and commitment was there from everyone and display of real quality throughout the game too. 5's for all the subs as they had little impact when coming on but put a shift in nonetheless.
Captain... According to the commentators Vardy was going to come off for Krama, but then Ulloa pulled up so Pearson changed his mind.
davieG Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Pearson should called all the refs arrogant, seems to up their game.
MooseBreath Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Vardy 9 Albrighton 8 Ulloa 8 Everyone else 7 Newcastle 1
ADK Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Pearson 7 Schmeichel 7 Schlupp 8 Huth 7 Morgan 7 Wasilevski 7 James 6 Cambiasso 7 Mahrez 7 Albrighton 8 Vardy 8 Ulloa 8 De Laet 6 Hammond 6 Kramaric 6 Newcastle 1 Ref 6 Hard to rate against such a poor team, thought Albrighton's crossing, Vardy's work rate, Ulloa's finishing and Schlupps energy were the stand outs.
kingfox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 9 for Albrighton, Vardy & Ulloa 8 for Schlupp & James 6/7 for the rest
theessexfox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Schmeichel - 6 - Quiet afternoon Wasilewski - 6 - What a guy Huth - 6 - Been great for us, only a 6 because he wasn't tested Morgan - 7 - +1 for the goal, glad he scored Albrighton - 7 - Good deliveries James - 6 - Lost control at times but did alright Cambiasso - 6 - Wasn't at his best but didn't have to be Mahrez - 6 - In and out of the game, little impact Schlupp - 6 - Decent Ulloa - 8 - Very good game Vardy - 7 - Pest as usual, love him Subs - 5 - Easy situation to come on to, Hammond looked miles off it Newcastle - 1 - Embarrassment to the league Ref - 5 - Picky in our favour Nige - 7 - Stay
ithuriel Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Considering the players put in a shift weds evening I cant really have a dig at any of them, Albrighton did not terrorise Newcastle as much as when they visited earlier in the season but he did look a bit tired, not surprising really with all the running he does.
eye666 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 8's for Vardy (MOTM), Albrighton and Was (thought he was a beast today). 7's all round the rest. Subs 6's. Newcastle 1. Pearson 8.
Dickov22 Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Kasper 8 distribution (particularly from throws) is brilliant Wasilewski 8 One of the best games I've seen him have. The scissors tackle was hilarious Huth 8 Standard Wes 8 Back to his best and loved him scoring Schlupp 8 We are so much better with him down that left hand side. Gets forward so well Albrighton 7 Loves a tackle and his set pieces were great Mahrez 6 Held onto the ball too long at times, but still showed glimpses of real quality Cambiasso 6 Quiet game for him but I felt we rushed things too much in the first half and didn't allow him to get on the ball James 7 Really good from James Vardy 9 Just brilliant. So dangerous MOTM Ulloa 8 Very good game. Shows what a run in the side can do for confidence First half we were so quick out the blocks, Newcastle couldn't cope with us. Credit to Pearson, he's fired them up. The only negative was we kep trying to rush the final ball and didn't retain posession well enough. Second half was the most one sided game I've seen in our favour all season. Just brilliant
