Then he stood up singing Robin Hood, Robin Hood, we hate forest! Aaaaarrrrgggghhh. Bernie makes me smile. Always used to see him getting the bus back to l'boro after night games in the 90's. Sat next to me a few times. God does he stink.

ithuriel Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Earlier in the season, sometime around Xmas time perhaps, cant quite remember, he was going between two of the TVs in the Local Hero commenting on the footy match and rugby match being shown whilst sorting out his papers, posters etc., laid out on his table and having a go at one of the bar staff over something. He was completely in his own world though the few peeps in there at the time found it funny when he was berating the guy behind the bar I remember walking down to the stadium well before one match and he was singing songs at two workmen doing some kind of building work who looked bemused.

I was a bit perplexed with what to say he just stood there waiting for a reply, I mumbled something,he shock his head in disgust at my mumbled response and just walked off!!!

He beat me into town after the Newcastle game, I didn't hang around, and was in the window at Yate's shouting abuse at some woman in front of me who was just out shopping. Threads like this kind of sadden me though in that he obviously needs some help but isn't getting it.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Got a train back from Reading away, the train was absolutely full, standing everywhere inc in the toilets etc. All seats were booked with travelers to London, Bernie sat on 1 of a block of 4 seats ignoring the 'reserved', needless to say the other 3 remained empty.
