TheLittleBigMan Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 If i remember correctly he told the court he doesn't really go football and he did it for a £10 bet and he got let off! Different one mate, I ran on at the Brighton match, been an lcfc supporter for 26 yrs ;-)
TheLittleBigMan Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Having done it after the Brighton match and getting a ban for the season I would say not. Even if you do it on mass some of you will defo get caught and banned. i think pitch invasions should be allowed depending on the occasion (this one seems a bit pointless), if the club/fans arranged it together I can't see a problem with it, but our club seems to be pretty clear in it's stance.
Bert Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 you're great manCan you imagine a night out with him?"Fancy a pint mate?" "Half a bitter shandy will do thanks".
Unabomber Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Can you imagine a night out with him? "Fancy a pint mate?" "Half a bitter shandy will do thanks". I admire your optimism.
muzzy1981 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I say let people do what they want. If you feel uncomfortable with it don't bother but to condemn people for doing it is ridiculous. If people want to do it then its veru difficult to stop, so It needs to be better managed this year, wags need to get round a bit quicker etc.
Guest Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 A pitch invasion would mean Cambiasso doesn't make his lap of honour before leaving. But then again it could be your last chance to touch the guy's asso!
kingcarr21 Posted 19 May 2015 Author Posted 19 May 2015 Premeditated invasions are pathetic. Even if spontaneous, all you're doing is depriving other people of the chance to applaud the players and watch the lap of Honour. Also deprives those of us who live far away or are working from seeing the images of it. To sum up, if you invade the pitch on Saturday I hope they apply the law, arrest you and ban you from the ground. Imagine having the whole pitch to yourself
Bramhall Fox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Without a doubt, let the lads do their lap of honour and let us all applaud them. I'm sure they'll want to thank us as well - without doubt, the support from our fans this year has been fantastic, pretty much throughout the season, but particularly at the end. Spoilt it a bit for me last year against Donny, and really want them to enjoy their wonderful achievement and for both players/Managers/staff to enjoy a bit of mutual applause and thanks. Could be a fantastic day for players and fans - let's all appeciate each other for our great escape, without them having to run off half way through it.
Livid Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Plus i'm getting on a bit and have you seen the size of those electronic advertising boards. I could do myself an injury!
tylesta Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Can you imagine a night out with him? "Fancy a pint mate?" More like a mineral water with a slice of lemon "Half a bitter shandy will do thanks".
MGLCFC Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I'd like to be able to applaud the players IF, and I say if they do a lap of honour. Didn't get the chance last year as the pitch invasion happened before they got to me. If there has to be a pitch invasion, I hope it's done on the final whistle, not on the lap of honour.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 A pitch invasion would be going to far, survival is great and it does feel like winning a cup yeah but no, it's not the same thing.
