VLC86 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 You are only allowed to invade the pitch if you are dressed as an Ostrich, Otherwise you are a cnut.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 If you do wish to invade the pitch then at least wait for the lap of honour to finish so those who want to applaud the efforts of the team can. Then when the players have gone you can have your bit of fun on a patch of grass
Ashley Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 In two minds. If we were confirmed safe on Sunday too right! However were safe and players will probably do a lap of honour and it will be heavily policed around the front of the pitch
Father Ted Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Aren't half some boring cvnts on here. We've just pulled off the greatest survival escape of all time. I hope there is a pitch invasion.
Fox92 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Aren't half some boring cvnts on here. We've just pulled off the greatest survival escape of all time. I hope there is a pitch invasion. Not sure how it's boring, it's all opinion. We have already survived. If we beat QPR to stay up then I sort of understand it. I'm not bothered either way but now you've said this I hope to see one then.
Marie84 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I'm not fussed either way tbh BUT I think after all the effort and what we have done the players and the staff deserve to have "Their" moment at home on Sunday... Everyone runs on.. Players will be off at least let them do their thing 1st give them the respect and applause they deserve Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
filbertway Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Don't even see how you can get yourself amped up for a pitch invasion after the event. I've always thought of it as a spur of the moment type thing where you forget everything for a minute and just want to celebrate with the players and fans. Forcing one just seems like an excuse for people to get onto the pitch, which is okay if you're 12 or under.
Voll Blau Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 It's meant to be a spontaneous expression of joy. Much as I love pitch invasions it'd be a bit weird to do it when we've got nowt to play for.

foxfanazer Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Absolutely not. We'd be slaughtering any other club for doing this. Would be worse than Villa imo It's meant to be a spontaneous expression of joy. Much as I love pitch invasions it'd be a bit weird to do it when we've got nowt to play for. This
glenny_fox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 What's the point? Surely a pitch invasion is meant to be a spur of the moment on pure emotional joy. If we confirmed our safety with a last minute goal I could understand it rather than after a week of being safe. I'd much rather see the squad show their appreciation to the fans instead of running on a patch of grass and having the players run off the pitch.

DennisNedry Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 If we confirmed it against QPR in a dramatic fashion that caused emotions to spill over, then yeah I'd be up for it. But it's pointless now we're already safe. It'll probably **** up the lap of honour too. Cambiasso would be ashamed of you all
Ian S Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Can we at least let the players and staff get the whole way around the pitch this time? Agree, stay in your seats and applaud the lads as they make their way around.
Ollie93 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Absolutely not. We'd be slaughtering any other club for doing this. Would be worse than Villa imo Don't think we would be worse than Villa, we've just pulled off the greatest escape having been written off months ago. They're just going to Wembley.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Yes okay fair enough, let them do their lap of honor, they deserve that. But it is us fans that pay to watch the game, pay their wages. We deserve something too. Its our club as well as the owners, and if the fans end up doing a pitch invasion then i personally do not see a problem with that.

Number 6 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Think some of the desire to do this stems from the club being so heavily opposed in the past. The police coming out before the end of the Brighton was just OTT and actually made me want to invade the pitch.

And no the club don't owe you anything. Your gift is survival. Be content with that, you selfish nob.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 No you don't pay their wages. And no the club don't owe you anything. Your gift is survival. Be content with that, you selfish nob. Revenue from tickets and merchandise - towards the owners owners - pay the players wages. We do contribute... I never commented to have an argument with anyone.. I am just stating that us fans pay out a lot of money to watch them play, and if the fans want to pitch invade then I don't see a problem with it. To be honest with you, i don't mind either way, but its all a bit of fun in my eyes. Obviously - if it does happen - let them do the lap first.
Larry_LCFC Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 The club/police will read this you know. Not the cleverest idea to post it on here. I imagine the police presence will be huge as always to try and prevent it. Don't really see what you're wanting to achieve as the players will probably disappear off the pitch. Rather let them celebrate with their families
