Matt Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Charlton fans are planning some sort of pitch invasion / protest tomorrow at the 60th minute apparently. At first I wondered why, but then I remember this game had been moved with 17 (?) days notice, so assumed it was about that. Sky are claiming it is a protest against the Charlton owners, is that a smokescreen Sky are trying to cover it up with or is this the case?

It's to do with the how the owner is running the club, the walk out on 74 minutes is how many goals they have conceded. They are also taking a coffin to the ground http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/charlton-fans-planning-biggest-protest-11021773

Seems to be more against the owners than Sky, http://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/72093/official-pitch-invasion-announcement
Matt Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Ah right, suppose it actually plays in the Charlton fans hands that it has been moved for Sky then really, it makes more of a statement in a way, gets more coverage and gets people talking, or was it arranged since the game was moved for those reason's? I'll be watching with interest for this rather than the game really!
Ozwin Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Would love to see Sheffield Wednesday back in the Prem. Always had a bit of a soft spot because Benito Carbone was for some reason one of my favourite players as a kid. No idea why, he must have scored a decent goal once upon a time. Anyway, it's nice to see them doing well and their fans are brilliant, would be a welcome addition to the league compared to your Burnleys and Middlesboroughs etc.
Matt Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Dougie Freedman expected to be sacked by Nottingham Forest following meeting with chairman.
Fox92 Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Dougie Freedman expected to be sacked by Nottingham Forest following meeting with chairman. Yeah just read that.
marko Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Dougie Freedman expected to be sacked by Nottingham Forest following meeting with chairman. Wouldn't it be brilliant if Wee Jimmy Krankie got the gig again! The king is dead, long live the king!
Matt Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Apparently Freedman had a 'furious row' with the Forest Chairman.
separator Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 You can see why Charlton have a pitch-side 'fan sofa', enough to put you to sleep this first half
marko Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/article/dougie-freedman-3005533.aspx Any idea when #FawazDay is this year?
LanguedocFox Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 How many managers have Florist had in the past ten years? Astonishing.
marko Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 How many managers have Florist had in the past ten years? Astonishing. It's seven since Fawaz took over in 2012. The man has an itchy trigger finger.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 What are the Charlton fans protesting about specifically?
Soar Fox Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 What are the Charlton fans protesting about specifically? Lamby having his season ticket revoked.
Fox92 Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 What are the Charlton fans protesting about specifically? The shambolic running of the club.
Dan Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 I never ever thought we'd be this far ahead of both of those two in every way.
Fox92 Posted 13 March 2016 Posted 13 March 2016 Wow. Charlton are winning. Wtf is that pitch invader doing
