Did we ever have Thursday night games in our Championship seasons?

I can't recall - it just seems like such an odd occasion and decision. St. Andrew's looks as if it's only a quarter full - and that's me being generous.

Thursday 31 January 2013, Wolves at home, fairly sure it was because of Sky tv.

The only one we had I think apart from Boxing Day games, play offs etc.

Sure we played Derby on a Thursday night once? Think we were the first game they tried it with. Might be wrong though.

No you're correct, we played Derby on a Thursday night Neil Danns scoring the winner.

I actually quite enjoyed it, we were in Derby for about 3pm, caught the train back after the game then straight out in Leicester to all the student bars.

How is this Hull side 2nd in the league? terrible.

They battered Birmingham, should have had a penalty and hit the woodwork twice. It was "one of those days" where nothing went in for them.

It's a great kick-off for students, I can see that. However, I suppose the majority of fans are people who need to look after a job and they can't afford that luxury of traveling that early.

Thursday kick-offs for league games are really odd. It's usually a Europa League type slot.

Also wolves at home in January 2013 for Sky. Won 2-1. Knockaert and Nugent.

Edit: Whoops already mentioned.

Really don't want Hull or Burnley back up. just don't like Hull and Burnley with Dyche moaning constantly about money

Same. Particularly Burnley, hate them

I think Boro will take top spot, they've looked good all season and well managed. Brighton seem to be getting back in form again, hopefully they do enough to get 2nd spot. Owls to win the playoffs, everybody's happy

Nothing against Burnley, don't mind them coming up. Would rather them win the league than Hull. Middlesbrough also as I like them and I like Middlesbrough away. Don't mind Hull coming up either, close away game, wouldn't mind Birmingham either. Not bothered about the rest.

lol. We've sold around 226 tickets for Middlesbrough away tonight live on Sky.

Not surprised either. Friday night away to Middlesbrough. Who the hell wants to go to that!?

A big **** off to Sky.

would've been a good'un to take literally nobody to, that. probably look like nobody tbf.

i used to love friday night home games but friday aways must be grim, especially as you say away at middlesborough. probably going to lose. probably going to snow. have to take a day off work. just the bins, that.

nah they played on tuesday. and were crap. they'll probably lose tonight because it's the championship and middlesbrough are good and wolves are rubbish.

1 goal in their last 5 away games. Has 2-1 wolves written all over it.

Feel for you because you lot usually take a good away following.

Oh yeah I wouldn't want it to be the norm with having games on Thursday's and I imagine it would be awful if say we would have had to trek up to Blackburn or something.

Middlesbrough will surely win. Wolves are dreadful this year.

Correct. Though we managed to beat Derby last Saturday, and we also won four games in a row over Christmas whilst playing rubbish. I've stopped trying to predict Championship results.

Still surprised Jackett hasn't been sacked yet.

You and me both. The club is sleepwalking to the summer. Jackett still doesn't seem to know his best team and his selections/Subs are often bizarre. Yet he's still not getting much stick from the fans at games other than the occasional pocket of "You don't know what you're doing" or booing. The owner and CEO are getting the brunt of the blame for the current state of the club.

I think if we weren't officially up for sale he'd have gone by now. He's hit his ceiling in this division.
