kingcarr21 Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Fawaz has now said he would be open to selling Forest if the right offer came in. Looks like he is finally realising what a shit tip he brought. Fawaz Day Still cant get my head around those c****
Leicesterpool Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Pretty sure Lennon won't be bothered about being sacked at all, probably thinks the club have done him a favour. Don't see the point sacking him now though. Clubs in a mess and I don't think the sacking of Lennon will make that much difference. Wonder if Forest would be interested in him? Funny though how he was linked to us back in June and some said he'd be good enough.
Matt Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Lennon to Forest? Someone's told me Karanka has sorted his problems out and gone back/decided not to leave Boro'. Is that true?
Wymsey Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Quite strange Karanka has returned after awkwardly leaving Middlesbrough following a row. Perhaps it might get them on fire again.

Fawaz Day Still cant get my head around those c**** Tbf they've got potential... It's just that Fawaz seems to be an idiot. If he actually gave the job to a half decent manager and let the manager do the job then there's no reason why they can't push on... It's a bit like the situation at Leeds.
StanSP Posted 15 March 2016 Posted 15 March 2016 Lennon to Forest? Someone's told me Karanka has sorted his problems out and gone back/decided not to leave Boro'. Is that true? yeah there's apparently been 'clear the air' talks and all is fine and dandy!

Fox92 Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Wouldn't work here imo. Ground is too full. If anything it'd make it worse. They only average about 18k.
AKCJ Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Wouldn't work here imo. Ground is too full. If anything it'd make it worse. They only average about 18k. They fill their ground in the Premier League, just as we don't fill it in the Championship.
Fox92 Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 They fill their ground in the Premier League, just as we don't fill it in the Championship. It's a dramatic drop though. Even in the Championship we averaged more than 20k.
AKCJ Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 It's a dramatic drop though. Even in the Championship we averaged more than 20k. If we say that we get an average of 22k (pretty common during our spells in the Championship) and Hull manage an 18k average then we're both filling around 68% of capacity.
Voll Blau Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Anyone else seen Forest and Derby fans are now labelling their silly little fixture 'The Ultimate Derby'. How many gimmicks is it going to take for them to realise literally nobody except them gives a flying fvck.

Soar Fox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Harry Redknapp taking his job seriously at Derby. He's just agreed to help his friend Prince Ali and go to manage Jordan for 2 World Cup qualifiers.
MC Prussian Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Oh my, Redknapp at Derby! He's past it, I'd say - out of an official job for more than a year now. This reeks of a mere publicity stunt.

Although I wouldn't like the idea at my club, Morris does live near Redknapp so perhaps they know each other well (ie not a publicity stunt).
Corky Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 He doesn't like directors of football and doesn't want to move too far from his home so he becomes a director of football at a club 200 miles from his home as well as managing a country nearly 2,500 miles away. We've reached peak Redknapp contradiction.

How many gimmicks is it going to take for them to realise literally nobody except them gives a flying fvck. The only thing that make more Derbyish than a normal Derby is that there's a team called Derby involved. When you've got the Manchester derby and the Tyne-Wear derby this weekend, calling that shower of shite the ultimate Derby is ridiculous.

The same way neither of them care about Leicester, even though you invent a rivalry to hate on them both.
LCFC FOX Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 The same way neither of them care about Leicester, even though you invent a rivalry to hate on them both. We all know forest and Derby is a bigger rivalry, but to even pretend forest don't care is hilarious. They've always had it in for us.
Kitchandro Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 The same way neither of them care about Leicester, even though you invent a rivalry to hate on them both. Not sure if you're on the wind up but.....Leicester have always hated them, there's nothing 'invented' there. There isn't a more 'invented' rivalry in football than Forest/Derby. It's actually embarrassing people see it as an actual derby. Rivals are supposed to hate each other but Forest and Derby fans actually love that they have Clough in common and got together like a group of mates and decided to play for a trophy. Is that 'invented' enough for ya? I could easily say Wolves try to invent a rivalry with Villa and Birmingham.
The Bear Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 You could. But we don't. We have no interest in Villa or Blues. I don't like Blues as a club personally but there's no rivalry there. I know several Forest and Derby STHs and none of them care about Leicester. I dunno maybe they're in the minority.
Carl the Llama Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 You could. But we don't. We have no interest in Villa or Blues. I don't like Blues as a club personally but there's no rivalry there. I know several Forest and Derby STHs and none of them care about Leicester. I dunno maybe they're in the minority. You're angling so I'll have a nibble. To be fair this season they probably do sound like they mean it. After all it's easier to hide their feelings when they don't have to worry about us in the league. Indeed they probably are legitimately pleased for us right now too if they see our success as beneficial for the region as a whole giving them some coat-tails to ride on as it were. Don't think for a second though that either set of fans would be able to maintain the facade if one of them got promoted and had to compete with us in the Prem - on the contrary they'd be more than happy to talk up their rivalry with the best team in the country the fickle so and sos.
