Just heard Nige singing along to Ready to Go by Republica. Think he's having a meltdown.

I'm weird, in tears, too near and too far away,

Top said, he saw red, I went home, stayed in bed all day,

Heard Bert, dished dirt,

Always love the one you hurt

Preki's crap, I'm back,

yeah standing on the rooftops shouting out,

Baby now Preki can go

I'm back and Preki can go

If this - be it as a coach to Bob Bradley or a manager or whatever - were true then it really could be the end. It would make the owners either the least competent owners ever to go near a football team or the most transparent ever in terms of getting someone to do exactly what you want them to do. That could mean picking the players you want, it could mean stripping the assets you want.

One way or the other, it would mean they couldn't care less what anyone thought of them, including anybody who follows English football back in Thailand, and that any question that ever existed as to whether Pearson or they were in the right about any given topic would be resolved once and for all.

Unless, of course, he turns out to be a genius. Or, far far more likely, none of this is real.

Hey y'all, checking in from the US and I'm glad to see everyone so hyped to get one of the best Serbian-American managers in history. Maybe THE best.

I understand the reaction, but I want to suggest tapping the brakes on the whole Chicken Little bit. Honestly, I've always thought Preki is a great manager. And, sure, write him off before he's even landed in the UK, but I think you may be pleasantly surprised. Preki specializes in taking crap teams and making them alright. He won MLS coach of the year in 2007 while managing literally the worst team MLS has ever seen, Chivas USA. He didn't last in Toronto because NO ONE lasts in Toronto... they've been through 8 coaches in in 7 years. He is a great personality, has a great soccer mind (football... whatever bitches), and players like to play for him.

This guy is no John Carver... in the good way. For what it's worth, I would say Preki is in my top 5 MLS coaches to manage in the Prem. Get ready to have a lot of Eastern Europeans on the team. Preki LOVES Eastern Europeans.

For now, check out this sick Preki goal that sealed a US win against Brazil in 1998.

Let me know if you have specific questions and I will reply with somewhat vague responses.

Yes. Why did you sack Nigel Pearson?!

Is this what Armageddon will look like?

No. This is.

I'd rather have David pleat as DOF being coached by Frank Mcklintock and Peter Taylor with junior Lewis putting out the cones and bryan Hamilton driving the team coach!

1. Does PREKI prefer, the endangered Water Vole or the Siberian Flying Frog?

2. If PREKI was a type of glue, what type of glue would he be?

3. What's more important to PREKI, the Bank of England base rate being an all time low or Drainage systems?

Thanks in advance!

PREKI'S number one fan!

The old guy has previously worked at West Brom and Chelsea (honest).

That's Shakey and Walsh covered.

Knew I'd seen him somewhere before!

SIGN HIM UP.

Genuinely, I'm all over this.

For too long football has gone with the predictable. Nice one Top, I'm buckling in and along for the ride.

This thread is a predrag. Lets sign him already

I'd rather smear my genitalia in fish paste, and dangle them in a pool of hungry piranhas.
