I'm lumping my biggest ever stake on us being relegated if this happens. Me too. It would be a nailed-on disaster. I've defended the owners on numerous occasions but if this really does happen then it goes to show that they are all the things that I thought they weren't. Yes its fickle but this is unprecedented, its just bizarre in the extreme.

The only thing keeping his price this low is the scenario there might not be a leak and he's packed his job in to move to England. The owners and panel assigned to this would not sit there and say "3rd tier US soccer manager anyone?" It's not going to happen. He may be taking up a coaching role with us or somewhere else in England but not a managers role. (That's what I've convinced myself on a walk with dog anyway).
