Looking forward to this new chapter for our club.

ive got to be honest and say this is a terrible appointment.

We will finish 20th.

Pearson was, by an absolute country mile, better than this guy.

Please explain how?

You're hugely underestimating the job Pearson did.

I think the reverse is true. NP struggled with formations & selections for most of the season, Huth & Cambiasso are the ones responsible for the late surge.  We are moving forward, give the guy at least 24 hours before you sh*t all over him.

oh dear. Who signed them?

No, you definitely are.

No, I'm not. What you're doing is writing off a manager who has had massively more success than Pearson. I think you're hugely underestimating how good Ranieri's managerial record is.

With all due respect, you clearly do not know what you are talking about

You simply cannot compare the two. Both career paths are hugely different. Ranieri didn't have to come from Carlise to get to the premiership. Also Ranieri has been managing a lot longer than Nigel.

Ranieri has arguably had the bigger budgets to work with. We have no idea how Nigel would have done with similar circumstances. Neither you or countesthorpefox are right at this present moment in time and only time will tell who's opinion will be correct.

We shall indeed, and I hope he shoves your opinion back down your throat by this time next year.

So do we all, but unfortunately this is like reading the board when we appointed Sousa and Sven, anyone who disagreed was called an idiot and we were soon "going to see how wrong they were" given the pedigree of the managers we had appointed compared to boring old steady Nigel.

I hope he does get it right, we need him too, history teaches me to be very cautious though.

question - who has the better cv, Sven or NP? question - who did better for LCFC, Sven or NP?

Question - who has done better at Leicester, Claudio or NP?

Answer - No one knows yet!!! Let's wait and see first and not write him off no matter what CV he has or doesn't.

Why is Ranieri any more likely to fail than someone like Pearson such as Neil Lennon? Our fans seem to think history always repeats itself. We had a disaster with Sven and therefore Ranieri is going to be just as bad because he's a manager whose managed big teams? There is little correlation. I think history shows that established managers such as Ranieri are more likely to do well in the PL than inexperienced managers. We aren't in the Championship anymore.

It shouldnt - I am just trying to understand your perspective if youve seen a rarity as NP come along way more than I have?

I've watched plenty of shite in my time as a Leicester fan. But what I like to do is reserve my judgement until they've managed at least one game.

Let's be fair. A lot of us, including myself is bitter that NP was sacked, regardless of the circumstances. But how far he could have taken us, no one knows. Same with Ranieri. We don't know how good he will be till the first few games. The thing I don't like is change when things are going well. But that's not CR fault and so I fully back him until I have reason to do otherwise. Anyone that calls for his head without giving him a chance is just bitter.

The important term being, "I think".

I've watched for 100 years and I think Ranieri will be decent mate.
