Ollie93 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Seeing as there's been a lot of interest on the "what grinds my gears? thread". What's your favourite type of sandwich and on what bread? My personal favourite is bacon, egg and sausage on thick, white toasted bread.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Ham and cheese with a bit of mayo. Worst bread ever is that Warburtons stuff that comes in the paper bag. Seems to last about twenty minutes before becoming as stale as a brick.
EnderbyFox Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Anyone that uses Mayo instead of butter wants taking outside and shooting before they breed

Fox92 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Ham/cheese with salad. No mayonnaise though because I absolutely hate it.
Soar Fox Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Anyone that uses Mayo instead of butter wants taking outside and shooting before they breed Come at me bro. Anyway you can't beat a sandwich or baguette from Croques in town.
Kitchandro Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Chicken, bacon, mayo, lettuce. White, toasted bread. Or meatballs and sauce with melted cheese. Like they do at Eat or Subway.
Ollie93 Posted 23 July 2015 Author Posted 23 July 2015 I don't see the point of salad on a sandwich tbh, just seems pointless and tasteless. Except tomato, I like tomato.

Darkon84 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 I created something the other week which may seem an abomination at first, but trust me, fellow sandwich fiends, it's a taste sensation! Thick cut brown loaf with real butter One layer of salt and vinegar chipsticks One layer of chunky chips Fish fingers Another layer of chips Another layer of salt and vinegar chipsticks Daddies ketchup
Buce Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Anyone that uses Mayo instead of butter wants taking outside and shooting before they breed What if they've already bread? Sorry, it's that kind of day...
VLC86 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Tomatoes are the way forward, I could eat them all day. Spawn of satan.

Thick cut brown loaf with real butter One layer of salt and vinegar chipsticks One layer of chunky chips Fish fingers Another layer of chips Another layer of salt and vinegar chipsticks Daddies ketchup Sounds like a load of messing around to me. I cant stand around waiting for fish fingers and chips to cook. What are you playing at!
Soar Fox Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 What crisps does everyone eat with their sandwich? I have either Monster munch flamin hot or Mcoys sizzling king prawn.
Ollie93 Posted 23 July 2015 Author Posted 23 July 2015 Tomatoes are the way forward, I could eat them all day. Try the big ones on the vine from ALDI, trust me, they are a sweet juicy sensation!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 I like pretty much all bread. Warburton's Toastie for sandwiches. Mexicana and cheddar toastie, smoked bacon and salty butter are my favourites On the subject of mayonnaise, I generally don't like it but the stuff they use at KFC is well nice - light and peppery. Anyone know what they use? Don't tell me it's semen I want to actually find out this is serious stuff people
VLC86 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 I love the Jalapeno and cheese bread that they sell in the Co-op with some ham and onion chutney, maybe melt some cheese on it nom nom. PS mayonaise isnt mayonaise unless its perinaise.
Darkon84 Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Sounds like a load of messing around to me. I cant stand around waiting for fish fingers and chips to cook. What are you playing at! Clearly a sandwich amateur. A sandwich is a thing of beauty, a masterpiece of food architecture and something to be embraced. It's not just a food, you see, it's an experience.
Smudge Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 Pastrami on Rye, not too thick like this one. Grilled Swiss cheese with sweet onion marmalade.
