jimmeh Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 This has been a trend at Leicester for some years now. We always have transfer sagas about incoming players, but never for outgoing players. We never seem to have sought after players, is it because we pay them too much in wages for what they actually are?
Finnaldo Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 We've only had particularly good players for a couple of years now, Mahrez might go for a fair chunk.

Tbh I'm glad we're not Southampton and having to accept offers for our best players for Liverpool.
davieG Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 HITC Sport understands Leicester City defender Paul Konchesky is a target for Bristol City. View image | gettyimages.com Bristol City are lining up a move for experiencedLeicester City defender Paul Konchesky, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club. Konchesky seems set to leave the King Power Stadium this summer with new Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri recently admitting the defender was not in his plans. The 34-year-old started 26 Premier Leaguematches last season as Leicester secured Premier League survival with a thrilling end to the campaign. Konchesky, who joined Leicester from Liverpool in 2011, still has a year to run on his current contract, but the club are open to offers for the former England international. Konchesky has not featured for Leicester in pre-season and news of his availability has alerted a number of clubs. Bristol City are hoping to win the race for Konchesky's signature with Robins boss Steve Cotterill in the market for a new left-back after allowing Gregg Cunningham to leave for Preston North End. Cotterill is a big admirer of Konchesy and feels his experience could prove vital to his squad as they prepare for life back in the Championship. Konchesky has played for Charlton, Tottenham, West Ham, Fulham, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City in his career to date and won two caps for England.

Soar Fox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Yeah but when was the last time a bigger club than us has signed a player from us? Nottingham forest. Ben Hamer.
lgfualol Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Most of our players have been crap up until the last few seasons, that's why. I reckon if we stay up we'll be fighting teams off next Summer.
TrentFox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 To be honest, for most of the last 12 years we've been total doggo...... we didn't even want our players !!!!
Will1981 Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Yeah but when was the last time a bigger club than us has signed a player from us? Connolly to Wigan for £2m in 2005.
johnny the fox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/59055-Gary-Taylor-Fletcher cov are after some our magic dust...
Les-TA-Jon Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Wait, are we seriously complaining that no one is signing OUR players? The mind boggles...
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Fook me - now lets panic because we aren't selling our best players - Fooking Rudkin is a clown! I blame Wellens
Stevosevic Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Mahrez linked with better clubs Schlupp linked with better clubs Kasper linked with better clubs Ulloa linked to other premier league clubs Vardy linked to other premier league clubs Should be pleased we're not selling, there would be plenty of takers.

Linked? Why don't they bid then.
jimmeh Posted 3 August 2015 Author Posted 3 August 2015 Fook me - now lets panic because we aren't selling our best players - Fooking Rudkin is a clown! I blame Wellens Well I'm not really panicking, just asking the question. Why do better clubs never seem to want our players
CosbehFox Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Linked? Why don't they bid then. They probably do but we are not party to it.
Stevosevic Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Linked? Why don't they bid then. How do you know they haven't?
AyewJoking Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Were at that untouchable level where anyone better than us doesnt need our players and anyone worse than us cant afford/attract our players.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Linked? Why don't they bid then. Why does this bother you? Can't get my head round it.
Xen Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Surely it's a good thing that we only seem to sell to teams worse than us? It means that we're getting rid of players who aren't at our level and keeping hold of those who might be slightly better than the club overall?
Molly Posted 3 August 2015 Posted 3 August 2015 Linked? Why don't they bid then. Because they are not available.
jimmeh Posted 3 August 2015 Author Posted 3 August 2015 Why does this bother you? Can't get my head round it. Because it's best to sell some players every now and then. What do you want to happen, to release them for free when there contracts expire? Some of our players will need to move on soon if we are to progress to next level.
